this hotel is about 15 minutes to ban thath markets, rooms size is quite large for the cost,,close to heaps of cheap restaurants,my only complaint was the breakfast ,very poor ,staff did not speak english the lift stopped at the 8th floor and then had to be a mountain goat to get up the steep stairs,we found that the restaurant next door had excellent breakfast for about $4 to $5 dollars

We arrived after 24 hours of travelling, tired and in need of a shower! Sadly there was no hot water!...for 3 days!!! I realise we didn't pay a lot for the room (around$50/ night) but I think we could've done better. The location is great but honestly it ends there. Hotel is a bit grotty, breakfast is very basic, towels are old and look dirty, bed linen wasn't changed for our whole 5 night stay. I'm afraid I can't recommend this place.

We moved after one night as this hotel was an absolute shambles. For the money paid you would expect better and you can actually go to the many surrounding hotels and get much more for your money. The main thing is the noise. Do not get an Executive park view room, these are the nosiest! You will find it hard to sleep because the windows are not double glazing and the constant traffic and noise from the park outside will keep you awake. There are other hotels around that do have double glazing ... Read more

We couldn't say enough positive things about the staff at this hotel . The reception staff and Mr John from the tourist desk were always friendly and helpful . We booked transport to mui ne through the travel desk and the reception staff were always happy to book taxis for us . Our room was in the sixth floor and faced the park . Our room was spacious but the owners need to double glaze the windows as it was a bit noisy some nights , mainly on the weekend . Breakfast was in the tenth floor and I... Read more

I stayed in the Dragon Palace Hotel for three nights with two of my friends. I found the room to be very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was clean and functional. The breakfast is good and will keep you going for a couple of hours. The room which breakfast is in has fantastic views of the city. The staff in the hotel are very nice and were extremely welcoming. The location of the hotel is fantastic and is central to many of the key places. I would stay again if visiting Ho Chi Minh.

Dragon Palace Hotel is a fine, cheap hotel. Excellent location, friendly staff, and very affordable. Clean too. Apparently very popular with local vietnamese families, it provides a special cosy athmosphere in this busy backpacker district. We saw no backpacker, a part from ourselves..

We booked two executive rooms. For the first night another of us had to stay in a family room, which was quite terrible. Aircon not working, water leaking all over the bathroom floor and also bad smell. The next nights were way better in a proper room. Only complaint was the noise from the busy streets, but otherwise a very good room for the price. Room was cleaned well daily, good towels and amenities. Breakfast OK.

Convenient location for party, shopping and clubbing.Fresh delicious breakfast. The area very cheap travel agencies, shopping center, close to the biggest attractions of the city.Very heavy traffic on the streets, the hotel helpful, clean, stay with ease.

Great location. Reception staff were friendly and tried hard but were very undertrained in service. Room was tiny with no external window. However there was a window from our room to the corridor outside our door. This allowed a lot of noise. And we were often woken around 5am to the noise of staff banging doors and talking loudly. The water from the shower leaked under the frame all over the bathroom floor. The bath towels were old and stained. The shower drain was clogged. The room ... Read more
