It is located on Dong Du street and is renamed as Camelia Saigon Central Hotel now. It is about ten minutes walk to Saigon Post Office and Saigon Opera House is within five minutes walk. There are many restaurants around it. It is quite safe even if I return there late night. There are at least two more hotels on the same street including Sheraton Hotel. I visited there on 9 December 2016, I stayed there for three days. The room was clean and tidy. It was equipped with hair dryer, refrigerator... Read more

The hotel is very modern and clean since it's new decorated hotel. They have good promotion and I and my nephew stay there for 2 days. Price range is okay but service is very bad especially at night. During the day time receptions are superb nice, modern and helpful but I can't say same thing to evening receptions because after midnight lights are turn off, the fat boy snores too much and does not know if you come or not. Never pull him up if clients come or not. The way he speaks are very bad, ... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Newly renovated hotel so very clean. Room was small but big enough for a few nights, although shower was a bit awkward to use and bed was uncomfortable - we woke up every morning with aching legs - very strange.. Good location in district 1, lots of great restaurants and sights nearby. Breakfast lots of choice. Staff ok. Main reason for 2 star : Avoid using laundry service!!- expensive and came back smelling of smoke also one item damaged. We enquired about it and t... Read more

I stay at this hotel only one night, but was very happy because hotel staff were friendly and convenient. My father room sold out when we came, but they gave us upgrade room without extra charge. this hotel right in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, just a 5-minute walk to get to ho chi minh square. they have clean rooms, bathup and comfortable rooms with cheap price. around the hotel there are plenty of halal food and easily find a money changer. someday I want to stay here any longer....

Great location in district 1. Hotel staff very nice and speak English. Good breakfast. However, the VIP room was small and on the street. Noise at night from the street is unfiltered. Air conditioning only works if you call the front desk. Don't think the wall thermostat does anything, unless they activate it from the desk. Over all fair accommodations for the money.

Stayed here whilst working in HCMC. It's a no frills hotel right in the centre of town. No stand up shower facility in the bathroom but for the price per night it was value for money. If you're looking to travel on a budget or are looking for nothing more than a bed in the centre of town with access to bars, restaurants, clubs on your doorstep then this is the place for you. Laundry service was very efficient.

The location is very good in district 1 (the city center). All the main attractions are at walking distance. The room was quite small and with funny upholstery (like all the A&EM hotels). The breakfast is poor for european travellers. In any case a good choise for tourists.

I booked a VIP room but it was not like the room I saw on the booking web page. Upon check in, I realized that there are 2 types of VIP rooms. I was given Room VIP B which is smaller than VIP A. I was a little disappointed as I was looking forward to the VIP A room design which was shown on the webpage. However, the room was decent n clean enough for me to hv a comfortable stay. The location is great as there are halal eateries. Its opposite a mosque and within walking distance to a number of ... Read more
