We took the whole family (including 3 children) on the 16 day tour from Ho Chi Minh to Sapa and back. I hadnt realised how long this country is north to south and was relieved that the tour included two flights. We have been treeated to amazing hospitality with many memorable meals, There were activities that were not too physicallydemanding every day, We made many friends among the way but most enjoyed the humble and warm Vietnamese people we met along the way. The Mong People of Sapa were ... Read more

I could say that the hotel location is strategically located in a very good area - near the city tourist attractions and it is near the bus terminals- local buses and inter-city transfer. For a very cheap price do not expect that a very good ambiance will welcome you, nonetheless you enjoy want you pay for and for a backpackers like us - the money we pay for this hotel is reasonable enough. Breakfast menu is monotonous and simple (bread with egg, coffee and fruits). Will I check- in here agai... Read more

Duna Hotel offers a great value for a good room. I have stayed at the Duna for many years. Great breakfast and a very good travel service. Great staff and close walking distance to downtown. The area has interesting shops and places to eat. Stay in the larger rooms facing the street. 6th floor and above to avoid street noise. John room 501

Had an excellent tour of the Mekong Delta through the Duna Hotel. Had a one night Homestay and one night in a hotel both were great experiences. Had some fantastic boat trips and bicycle rides and visited a Cham Village - all memorable experiences. A great way to experience the Mekong Delta.

Saw the advertisement through online booking site with rating over 8.0. Booked 4 deluxe rooms due to the location is strategic and near to Bien Thanh market. Arrived at the hotel, the reception told that our booked rooms is not available and she asked to pay the additional fee (1 million dong @ 250,000 dong per night) for another deluxe rooms. Once entered, the room is too awful and not well maintained by the hotel management. The air conditioning is not working and the room is too hot. During... Read more

This hotel is disgusting do not stay there. Someone else's piss and pubes on the toilet seat. I'm serious I can't describe how terrible this place is. Really bad. No toilet paper, tv didn't work. Aircon was duct taped, dirty everything, old mattresses in the hallway outside our door

Hotel is on the edge of backpacker district. Adequate room. Meager greasy breakfast. Provides bookings for various outings. Insist on receipts for all purchases. For the same rate or less you do much better than this.

The 5th time we have stayed there in 4 years. Very disappointed with it this time. The condition of the place has deteriorated badly in the last 2 years since our last visit. The sisters on the desk do their best for you and speak good english, Lilly and Anna are great. ( there is 1 girl who speaks nil english which is an issue when you don`t speak vietnamese) Breakfast is basic but sufficient and cooked to order. Had Wildlife in the room!!,( Pest control needed!!) the balcony door did not clo... Read more

The room was dirty and stinky! We found mushroom on the wall.Staff extremely ignorant and doesn't speak english!! They pick passports and security level was under control. We spent there only 1 hour to think what to do, what kind of possibility we have. For this 1 hour we paid 26$ - the most expensive one hour in Vietnam. It was some kind of charge for receiving our passports back. Not recommend at all!!! We attached photos that we made on place. Finally we changed hotel. We recommend to remove th... Read more

The hotel on agoda looks good, clean and fresh. The reality is far from it. I'm going to try and focus on the positives - the extra features of the room include a lovely water feature coming from the aircon unit, the bed comes with old toe nail clippings and dirty uses plasters. The fan comes with a extraordinary noise to keep you entertained through your sleepless night. The bathroom is wild with mould and if your lucky may be clean. The staff at reception were accommodating. And the location i... Read more
