I arrived at Coconut Palm on 25th December 2016 to spend a holiday with my family. It's been more than a week staying there. The place is great. Staff at reception are exceptional and very professional. The owner and manager is such a professional gentleman. The cleaning and general staff are great. The place is homely and in a very good location- near main amenities and city centre and the beach. The place is very clean.

Good sized accomodation and room cleaned each day. Excellent breakfast included.Downstairs open and pleasant with spots to chill out. Pool table. Nice pool area. Close to everything and the steps into town were a great bit of exercise and not excessive. Pretty good for the price.

Staffs are helpful but visa card surcharge is extremely too high. food is just fine. 10 mins walk to town. 15 mins by bus to the airport. surrounding environment is quiet. the pool should be improved, too dirty.

I've seen some bad reviews for this hotel, basically from the lack of research taken by guests... this is NOT a five star hotel. I have been staying at Coconut Palms annually for several years and am always impressed, especially by the staff. The hotel is quite basic however provides the necessities that are needed to enjoy your stay! Staying in the palms deluxe apartment we are treated to a larger room, king size bed, a couch, table and chairs, a tv, private bathroom, air conditioning, wifi and... Read more

I stayed at Coconut Palms for 2 weeks when I was visiting Vanuatu for work purposes. The apartments are great, with all the facilities needed, and a great outside seating area - perfect to watch sunsets with a beer! All the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure guests were satisfied! The General Manager was great and very friendly - he even gave me a bottle of champagne to compensate for internet not working :) The hotel is also conveniently located - a very short ... Read more

Unfortunately I was not able to stay at this hotel due to flight cancellations. However, I wanted to write a review on how friendly and understanding the staff and manager were of the circumstance. They were happy to go through the process to issue a refund and liaise with the travel agent supplier to make this happen for us. I cannot thank them enough for their willingness to help!

Just returned from a nine-day stay at Coconut Palms and had a wonderful time. Wonderful staff and incredible value for the accommodation considering the other options. Pool is ample for swimming and the food great. The owner/manager Elliot also made the stay easy with assistance if required. Short walk into town which is all downhill - easy - but got buses back. Remember that this is 'budget' accommodation and fulfils all the promises made. Will be staying there again next time.

This is our second time saying at Coconut Palms. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to improve your stay. We previously tried an air conditioned room but found the fan room more than sufficient this time round (October). Loved the views from the top floor. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and always ready on time, fueled us for our busy days of volunteering. Wifi access from our room. The fireshow is always fun. The pool was a huge bonus to cool off. Highly recommend t... Read more

This place is not a resort. It is a backpackers place. They charge you even the air you breathe. The Rooms are ugly and uncomfortable. The have fans that make noise and it is impossible to have a good sleep. The food is 3 times more expensive than in town. The only good thing is that is close to town.

This place is called a resort but it is rather a 2-star backpackers place. The place is very tired and rooms and beds are uncomfortable. We were first put into room 105 but the noise from traffic in the hallways and people using the communal bathroom next door made it impossible to get any rest. They moved us into room 104 this was marginally better but still very basic - no bedside lamps, leaking toilets, very old snowy TV, etc,., etc. The resort is located in an area with a lot of fauna (dogs...
