Disappointing, especially for a Kimpton. They should seriously consider dropping this property from the chain. I must of stayed at Kimptons over 150 times in the last 5 years and this is by far the absolute worst one. A few issues: - Staff is not welcoming, warm or helpful - Takes a long time to get your car from the valet parking (even if you call them 20 minutes in advance) - Coffee hours are a little ridiculous during the week - They won‚??t clean your room while your pet, even a 8lb dog, is... Good things do come in small packages. This is a very quiet boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms subtlety decorated. This is a pet friendly hotel, so along with helpful friendly staff you may find the odd dog helping on reception. Couldn‚??t fault the location with majority of places within short walking distance and others reachable after short walk to local tram stations. Although as with the nature of Seattle the walk down to the waterfront will involve a more vertical hike back up... Read more

Erica, Cheryl and Kayleigh (not sure I spelled that right, I'm sorry) at the front desk are some of the best hospitality professionals around. Thank you for being so gracious, helping me fix my reservation and get on with my stay. It was one of those days. The computers were being serviced, I was a bit too early to check in, and the discount hotel website I had used botched my reservation completely. None of that mattered - the front desk staff was friendly, accommodating and couldn't have bee... Read more

We recently traveled to Seattle for a five day getaway. We selected the Vintage so that we would be downtown. As soon as we arrived, the valet group and Kevin at the front desk made us feel at home. The entire staff was super nice and very helpful on directions and suggestions on food and sight seeing. We stayed in a king premier on an upper floor. The room was very warm and comfortable. The only problem that we encountered was very poor cell phone service. On one night, we had trouble cat... Read more

Went on an Alaskan cruise that departed from Seattle. Room was clean and very comfortable bed. Ordered room service which was very good for dinner which was prepared in the fine dining restaurant downstairs off the lobby. Fireplace in the lobby was going and coffee in the lobby was ok. Water pressure in the shower was not good at all, let the staff know upon our departure and they said they would check into it. Hotel close to the fish market 8 blocks or so, Purchased some smoked salmon and smoke... Read more

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed here last weekend. It is just down the block from the 5th Ave. Theater. Our room was clean and comfy. This hotel is centrally located. You can easily walk to Pike Place Market, the Seattle art museum( SAM) and lots of shopping and dinning. The hotel has coffee in the lobby(Strabucks) and they have free wine tasting in in the late afternoon! Every day! If you forget something the hotel offer a wide range of free amenities and if they don't have it they will get ... Read more

The location of the hotel is excellent and a special thank you to Mike P. in the valet parking for wonderful customer service while we were in Seattle. Also being owners of a hybrid car we were delighted with the 50% rate discount.

I love Kimpton Hotels. This one is quaint, clean, and cute. The rooms are nice and the staff was super friendly. Amenities were somewhat limited and there isn't much on property, but the rooms were nice and the location was great.

To make the most of my mother/daughter trip that would meet both our needs; I did quite a bit of reading and rely on reviews and other travel blogs( Jetsetter) to make a decision. Boutique type of hotels are the best fit for myself and my shy; awkward 12 yr old daughter. Our Kimptom Karma with their Annual Sale made it a easy decision. We came from a 36 hour train trip( highly recommend) to walk to the hotel in the Seattle rain to the Vintage. Not only did Adam and staff warm Us with their rea... Read more

I arrived for just a quick overnight business stay. The check-in was prompt and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely room. My king room was quite spacious and I loved the funky purple velvet couch! I appreciate the use of the larger bottles of soaps/lotions in the bathroom as it cuts down on the landfill generated by tiny bottles. The only negative was the street noise from down below. Despite being on the 7th floor, the noise definitely carried. I kind of wished the HVAC wasn't w... Read more
