We stayed here for 8 days with our three month old daughter. Stayed in one of their suites which was perfect when you need space for an infant. Hotel was very accommodating providing us with a cot and a kettle to boil water for her bottles. The afternoon wine available was a lovely touch for the parents! The bookstore cafe is convenient however when staying for awhile the menu is quite limited and becomes boring. Good location for the ferries and access to Pike St markets and shopping.

Took a look at hotels around Seattle and had always heard good things about Kimptons. I thought I'd give the Alexis a try, because I was able to get a spa room for what comparable hotels wanted for a normal room. The entire stay was wonderful. Room and bathroom were huge, spa tub was wonderful, and service was impeccable.

Ok, ok I got you on the title didn't I? I bet you are thinking " What the heck is FrasierWeen?!" Good Question! It is an annual non-holiday get together with friends where we order a party bus and travel from bar to bar dressed as Characters and/or objects from the TV show FRASIER! This year was the first year and we decided what better place to do this then the setting of the show itself? Seattle! We figured doing this on the night before New Years Eve would be the most ridiculous time b... Read more

Bravo! Older bones redone to become the Alexis Hotel in Seattle, very nicely done. The staff is on top of their game, the room is a great size for the dollar spent and the added benefit of a remodeled older building is just how quiet the place is. You can stay at a lot of other places in the city but the ambiance, the professional staff and the extremely quiet digs make The Alexis a pleasure that won't leave you "Sleepless In Seattle."

I was recently stuck for a night in Seattle on my way home to Portland from Denver. There was an ice storm in Portland and all flights were cancelled. My bags had been checked, so I didn't have my luggage, and needed a place to sleep for the night that would be near the King Street train station, my planned way home the next day. I found the Alexis Hotel in Downtown Seattle. When I arrived at the Alexis Hotel, Brittany checked me in. I explained my situation and she promptly pulled out a big ba... Read more

Great place to stay. Near Pike Street and the waterfront. The staff was extremely attentive and extremely friendly. The Wine tastings were an excellent touch... Especially since I could not go out for local wines.

Having stayed at the Alexis twice I continue to be impressed with the modern efficiency of this historic hotel. The rooms are spacious and service is quick, friendly and complete. The Bookstore Bar and Cafe inside the hotel has a limited but high quality menu that makes dining simple and enjoyable. One evening we missed the wine reception and the person at the desk let us know that when we returned from dinner he would treat us to a glass of wine. Wow.

We had a wonderful family weekend at the Kimpton Alexis Hotel!! The staff at the Alexis went way above and beyond to ensure that our children (age 7 & 8) felt welcomed and comfortable - and totally personalized their welcome and visit. We stayed in the Author's Suite - a Fireplace Suite - and the room was so spacious and comfortable - perfect for a family of four. We actually ate all of our dinners in the room at the dining table and lit the fireplace every day. Also a major plus was the mo... Read more

I just adore the Kimptoon brand and this is one of my favorites. It's modern, sophisticated and down to earth. The location is ideal near Pikes Place and everything else Seattle has to offer. The hotel bar had an extensive liquor selection and the food was very good. We arrived too late to enjoy the wine and beer reception which is a huge perk that Kimpton offfers. I look forward to our next stay.
