My wife and I stayed here three evenings in late September. When we arrived on Friday around 5 they were comping freshly shucked oysters and WA wines in the lobby. Turns out the wine is on offer every evening; oysters are a Friday special. When we reserved the price difference between the fireplace suite and a regular room with a king was very modest so we went for more space. The living area is huge and well appointed with comfortable chairs and sofa, plus lots of books. Valet parking was ... Read more

We visited here in late August for 4 nights in a Authorâ??s suite . Huge suite well laid out.Loved the free happy hour in the lobby . Hotel in a very convenient spot in downtown. Everything downtown is walkable. Enjoyed a breakfast in the restaurant. Staff was helpful. Really the hotel had everything you need for a nice visit to Seattle. The only issue might be it isnâ??t a new property for some people. Iď¸? would stay in the suite for the $anytime Iď¸? visited Seattle.

Kimpton Alexis was Amazing from the opening of the front doors for me ( coming from Hawaii not used to this treatment as many of our Hawaii Hotels do not have front doorsđ???)Their location presence had superiority from doorman to housekeeping to front desk to Wine professional to leadership. Loving and feeling the spirit from all!!! The room was exactly as I pictured it - stylish, comfortable, loving the King bed with 4 post and fine art work in room. Bathroom are very tastefully done and worko... Read more

We love to stay at Kimpton hotels, and this time we stayed at the Alexis in Seattle. We were upgraded to a room with a jetted spa tub and a lovely view of the waterfront. The location of the hotel is close to the waterfront, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square and the stadiums. We walked everywhere, but it's also close to light rail. We took advantage of the wine reception each night and enjoyed conversing with other quests. We also ate at the Bookstore....the menu is small, fresh, local and d... Read more

Highly recommend this hotel. I have never had better service at any hotel I have ever stayed at from the housekeeping staff to the manager, Aaron. Their Bookstore Bar & Grill is perfect for a late night snack or nightcap. Great food and the best mussels Iâ??ve ever eaten anywhere. Also very dog friendly. Good location. Love this place!

From my initial contact to the end of our event, this was by far the best venue we have stayed at! I contracted sleeping rooms and meeting space for my team of 10 coworkers for a two day planning meeting. Great hotel, location, amenities and superior service. They took care of every last detail. The meeting space was perfect for our group. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive to our needs and many requests. Rooms were immaculate and cozy. If I travel to Seattle again I will retu... Read more

My mom and I stayed at the Alexis when we stopped in Seattle on our cross country train adventure. Like all Kimpton properties, the service was impeccable. Because we noted on our reservation that we'd be arriving in the AM via Amtrak, our room was already ready when we arrived (around 10 am). Our room had a funky shape, but lots of character and a fun Juliet balcony. The queen bed was nice and plush, and there was plenty of storage in the room, as well. The concierge provided excellent res... Read more

The hotel is very well situated, 1st Ave Seattle, close to the water front, the entrance could look a bit more impressive though. The restaurant/ cafe was tagged onto the side, we didn't really go in but it looked ok, not the cheapest though. Not much else in communal spaces, some seats in the central reception, they were nice. There was a number of lifts, we had to walk to the end of the corridor to get to ours. I would have to say the room was much more impressive, it was huge, large livin... Read more

My wife and I were in town visiting our son and daughter in law. Stayed here for the weekend. It was great service and the staff were very friendly. They also had wine in the lobby in the afternoon. My only complaint is that the rooms were a little loud. Also the beds were not as comfortable as other Kimptons that we have stayed at. Great location
