This was a last min. trip to attend a funeral. We got a great price and the hotel was as expect from past experience with the Hilton brand. The front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting local restaurants. They responded to any request quickly and professionally.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. But, we did have few issues while there.
The air conditioner unit in our room did not seem to be working properly. The temperature in the room was always on 73 degrees. No matter what we tried to do with the thermostat it never would cut on to cool down the room. Also, we experience some issues with billing when checking out. Somehow, the hotel sent through two charges to my credit card and it took me 9 days to get it corrected. This w...
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. But, we did have few issues while there.

The hotel staff did not seem to know how it happened, or, what to do to correct it.
But, other than this our stay was nice and what you expect from Hampton Inn. Our room was clean and my daughter really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The complementary breakfast was really good and the lady servicing that area was really sweet and helpful. The hotel was very close to the Williamsburg historic district, William and Mary University, and the outlets. The price for the room was reasonable and affordable.
We would stay here again when back in the area next time. Hopefully, next time the air conditioner will work and the hotel will bill my credit card correctly next time.

This was a typical Hampton Inn and I mean that in a good way. Clean, friendly service, reasonable rate, included breakfast, indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room. small store for essentials. All of this was very good and gave me that dependable Hampton Inn feeling I know I will get whenever I stay at one.
We had a handicap room and there were some exposed pipes under the sink with some loose escutcheons and it looked a bit unclean. We wouldn;t hesitate to stay again.

We were there for one night last June to visit Jamestown and Williamsburg. It's in a quiet area but still close to the center of town. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The great breakfast buffet is one of the reason we choose the Hampton Inn; we just love the selection of the breakfast food. We even found some fireflies behind the hotel; it was the kids' first time seeing fireflies. We would come back if we are ever in town.

This seems to be a quaint location. The facility is clean and quiet. It is also very accessible to the interstate as well as the tourist area. I was there to attend a business meeting in the Yorktown area and found it to be a great location to arrive in the evening. Plenty of restaurants with great food nearby. yet it is not in the fray of all the tourist hullaballoo!

We wanted to stay over a few nights and spend the new year in Williamsburg. This was spur of the moment and everyone was so helpful and so accommodating. The breakfast staff was wonderful and kept everything filled. The room was very spacious and great for a family.

My husband and I decided to go to Williamsburg for a NYE getaway. The Hampton Inn and Suites Historic couldn't have been any more perfect! The girls at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. First off we have been coming here to this particular location for years. It is our home away from home. The staff are superb and really take the time to help us find best spots to eat,play and shop. We want to thank the staff particularly that weekend we stayed. We witnesses them get brutalized by other patrons who were clearly a little too drunk and overheard them saying the whole lot of them were going to ruin the hotel on this site. Good location - 1.3 miles from Williamsburg center. Clean and quiet. All systems worked although toilet ran continuously and closet sliding door was off track and difficult to open. Caulking around shower was clean but sloppy. Breakfast (included in price) nothing special, all the standard items on board. Staff very young and helpful. Bed comfortable. Good place to use as a base for exploring Williamsburg.

We stayed here for 2 nites in December and had a good time... Everything from the staff thru the rooms was very good... the morning free breakfast was good and constantly refilled.. our rooms were cleaned and well maintained. this was an overall good experience..one of the other good features was the closeness to the historical area...we got to the visitors center one morning realized we had forgotten something were back to hotel in 5 minutes..really close..
