We decided to stay here again, as we spent a weekend in the area. Check in and out went well. The staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast was fine to start our days. Our room was spacious and nice, and cleaned each day. Close to all of the DC attractions or ride the metro, which is a short walk. Overall we were happy again to stay here.

Pluses: helpful and pleasant staff at desk and on shuttle; large room; room had good sound insulation; beds were comfortable. Minuses: the windows were filthy, inside and out; the heater, even after repeated visits by the maintenance man, could not be made to stay running (he said, in what very little English was available to him, "Is old unit"); other minor maintenance issues included a shower curtain rod that was so bent down in the middle that the curtain unavoidably slid to the middle (mea... Certain front desk staff is rude with no attempt to help resolve simple requests. Rooms are dirty. Cobwebs, hair in the sink on the counter. Hideous red bathroom walls. It would have be tolerable but the attitude of the woman at the front desk was awful.

We were in town on business. This hotel's proximity to important D.C. landmarks was helpful. The rooms were large and included a fridge. Overall the hotel was quiet and we slept well. Unfortunately the decor was super run down and both the room and the. I'm in areas felt dirty and dingy especially for the price point. The environment was a tad depressing and the fitness room reeked of BO. The iron in our room was covered with grime. The staff was very accommodating and did their best to make up ... Read more

I booked this hotel based on location and cost. When I got there it was not what I expected. Downside: The hotel is in need of serious repair. Old curtains torn and stained. Chair was ripped up ( I did get a replacement ). It was dark in there, the side table lamps were impossible to turn on. The TV was small. If you have no vehicle be prepared to hike a steep hill to get to courthouse area. Coming back you have to walk leaning back. Uneaten pavement so watch your step and itā??s a killer on ... Read more

Stayed at the hotel overnight and found it has its pluses and negatives. Firstly, it's a pain to drive to but the parking is excellent. Check in was a breeze and our room was huge! Loved the big, cosy bed. The hotel is missing many amenities like alcohol and a bar/restaurant, and the internet is unreliable. Breakfast is fine and the hotel is super close to the city centre.

The room was amazing. For the price this room had it all. The views were so stunning we kept the curtains open all night. Couldn't get enough of the views. The only downfall was the walls looked like they could use a good cleaning.

The room is quite old with style and furniture but still clean. The fridge was so lound all day all night. Woke up in the middle of the night on the first night. The breakfast was ok. However, there is a complimentary light dinner buffet from Mon- Wed which is very nice. The hotel is about 5-10 mins walking distance from courthouse station but down the hill. There is also a free shuttle from hotel to metro if you do not want to walk up hill but runs approximately every hour on weekday. They char... Read more

Our family, which included aprox 25 members, stayed at this hotel in early Feb 2017 for the burial of our father/grandfather/uncle Francis at Arlington National Cemetery. The staff at the Clarion Collections were unbelievably kind toward our group and our inevitable gathering in the lobby complete with adult beverages. Montana, from the front desk, and with a smile, was very gracious in requesting we drink our ā??soda popā?? in less conspicuous plastic cups which she provided. Many of us did not... Read more

I liked the way the room was layed out. I had a large uncluttered desk to work from and could easily watch the news on TV without cranking the TV to one side and then straining my neck. Nice to see a Wifi connection for each floor. The owners were thinking about business people when they designed these rooms. Thank you!!
