First time to Smugglers', really enjoyed it. Great mountain layout for an intermediate and advanced skier skiing together. Plenty of blue cruisers for the intermediate, experts can dive in & out of glades and steeper stuff, then join up again lower down. Some may complain about lack of high-speed quads, but upside is that there are fewer skiers crowding the trails (Smuggs -- PLEASE stay old school with the lifts, it's sooo much better...) Kids were happy to go off on their day-long camps, ... Read more

This resort has it all and I was super impressed with their ski school for my kids. Love the mountain, the ski in ski out, the affordable restaurants, make this perfect for families! I always want easy but variety and Smugglers Notch gives you that. We are returning this month!

Even before having children, we have come to Smuggs every year for a very long time. Once our sons were old enough for Smuggs Ski Camp they attended all week, participated in the Cookie Race and became excellent skiers and snowboarders. Now in their 20's, they still join us every year and we have added a daughter-in-law who became a level 5 skier in one week with the expert instructors at Smuggs. Simply the best winter vacation. Oh - and for non-snow people, Emma's water aerobics classes, lap sw... Read more

I've been to Smuggs a couple of times now and I would go back again in a heartbeat! The incredible scenery alone is enough to make the trip, but the people are incredibly friendly and make the experience even better! The skiing is top notch, the accommodations are cozy and clean, and the village has everything you need! I'll definitely be back!

This was the best winter vacation we have taken in years. The kids enjoyed the all day snowboarding camps and my wife and I enjoyed the cross country skiing and snow showing. We hit the tubing hill one evening and it was an absolute blast. We stayed in a Wyndham 3 bedroom Presidential unit located in the OWLS building and it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would request an even number unit next time for ski mountain views. The only complaint I had about the unit was the noisy furnace... Read more

We stayed in this resort in fall of 2016. It was single bedroom and we were family of 3. The apartment was huge and had all we needed for a great holiday. Resort was full of scenic fall colors and had a lot of activates.

We stayed for a couple days (1/26-1/29) in the Krestrel's #10. It was a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condo. The condo was HUGE and had plenty of room for everyone. Master bedroom had a king, gas fire place, double steam shower, double vanity, and large jacuzzi tub. Second bedroom had a queen bed. Third bedroom had 4 single beds (the largest bedroom by far). Second bathroom had tub, shower, double vanity. The kitchen was modern, clean, with a wrap around bar area that looked into the living room which ... Read more

The good: Staff and the People are the friendliest. The customer service is fantastic and you would be hard pressed to find someone not willing to help. The Mountain, plenty of terrain for every level. Green, Blue and Challenging Black Diamonds. The greens have cool little break out spots that the kids loved to explore. For the kids, you have to stop by the TeePee for some hot cider and cruise by bear run. When the lifts close the kids still didn't have enough and wanted to go night tubing (incl... Read more

Just coming back from 4 day skip trips to Smuggler's Notch. First, the good. Overall, good resort. We stayed in one of their newer condominiums. Great room, very very spacial. Great kitchen facilities. Shuttles are convenient. The Mountains are great and snow condition are wonderful. We had one of the best ski condition in years. They also seem have a lot of activities for little kids. Now the bad. At check-in, I was shocked there is no free WI-FI. There days, it's really hard to fin... Read more

We just returned from a week long ski trip to Smuggs and, all in all, were very pleased with our overall experience. We enrolled both our 3 year old (first timer) and 6 years (second time to ski) in the respective Dynamo and Trailblazer camp programs. The instructors for both programs were excellent (a special shout out to both Taylor and Charlotte), the programs were highly organized (in full disclosure we visited the week after the MLK holiday and the crowds were rather light) and most import...
