We are frequent Marriott visitors and have been all over the world staying at their hotels. Now Waco is mostly a college town but with the influx of tourists wanting to see Magnolia Market, there must be an increase in guests at this Courtyard. The carpet in our room is gross. It's stained and gummy. The room is very small. It's fine for sleeping and showering but don't want to spend any time lounging here. And bring flip flops.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was walking distance to the suspension bridge on one side and across from the Civic Center. We walked to shopping and restaurants and the free trolly is only a couple of blocks away. There was no complimentary breakfast and rooms were more expensive than most--$169 and $199 (weekend rates). Even with only two of us in the room, there was very little space. The beds were wonderful with soft pillows. We loved Waco.

Courtyard by Marriott Waco - Nice stay in Waco. We were in Waco visiting Magnolia like hundreds of others. I am a Marriott Platinum Rewards Member so I stay in a Marriott property wherever I go. This was a nice clean and friendly Courtyard. Enjoyed the stay and the hotel.

The room was clean and the front desk was competent and accommodated my requests which I definitely appreciated. Nice that itâ??s walking distance from shopping district. I just donâ??t understand why any hotel in this category doesnâ??t have complimentary breakfast these days. Seem ridiculous to me. And no complementary coffee downstairs? Have to wait in line for Starbucks? Sigh.

Marriot all the way. Older hotel with excellent staff. We enjoyed our stay although you need to mortgage your house to buy a beer downstairs. Could not believe it was $5.75 plus tax for a bottle of Miller Lite....

Not the best Courtyard I have stayed in, but also not the worst. First off the staff was excellent. The young gentleman in the evenings was very good. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Would like the option to keep the room air on all the time. Too quiet when it shuts off, just a personal preference. Only real complaint is the Bistro. Extremely slow service and not very competent. Ate there frequently including breakfast in the morning and a few dinners. Should not have to wait for an hour t... Read more

The suite was perfect, just as pictured! Clean, comfortable, roomy, and updated. The relaxing atmosphere really added to our get away. The location of Courtyard Marriott made easy driving to shopping, restaraunts, and downtown. From our arrival to checkout, the staff was friendly and helpful. Melina, from housekeeping, greeted us with a smiling hello, stopped her present work and especially went out of her way to help us after getting our room keys, to find the correct elevator and our room... We stayed here recently and it was easy to find and right on the river. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled. In fact, I think I stayed here when it was another brand of hotel some time ago. Beds are very comfortable and the room we had was quiet but a long way away from the elevators. The configuration was tricky. Some other quests were hunting their room and since it is a "U" shaped building they had to go back around to the other side. Quite the walk dragging and carrying bags. We had... Read more

We met up with some friends in Waco and made reservations at Courtyard. Upon our arrival there was a festival of some sort so we were not able to go directly to the hotel. The entire weekend was that way...the city kept rerouting us and we had to keep finding different ways to get back to the hotel. The hotel is so so I have stayed at nicer Courtyards. Come to Waco for a weekend and enjoy the sights, sounds and the food with your friends and family - you will have a good time. Just make sure to ... Read more

First time staying in Waco. Normally, I am just passing through on my way to Austin, but this time our destination was actually Waco. The hotel was easy to find. Very close to I-35 and perfect for people who are visiting for Magnolia or for Baylor. And it was perfect for us because we were going to an event at the convention center and it is literally right across the street. I mean walking distance across the street and there were doors right there facing the hotel, so all was good. We did... Read more
