We only had a quick overnight stay as we had a long haul ahead. The double bed room was nice and clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well. All staff encountered was also efficient and friendly.

Van Horn Hampton by Hilton was easily accessible from the Highway. The rooms are warm and comfortable. I love awesome view of the mountains from our spacious room! Be sure to check out the ample breakfast in the morning. Plenty of variety for all appetites. We also appreciated the availability of the Bagged Breakfast for those who don't have time to stay around for breakfast.

Travelling through with little choices. However this was a good stay, clean and exceptionally friendly (homemade cookies made in house in the evenings always a welcoming addition). Do not expect ti find anywhere to eat in Van Horn.

Great helpful staff, clean rooms and good overall appearance. Daily breakfast is hot with lots of choices. Overall room experience was good even if the comforter on the bed was lacking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying at length or just passing through Van Horn.

Stopped in on our trip moving to Arizona. Looked at some of the other reviews and I will have to disagree with the bad ones. The hotel is not very big (neither is the town) but it is quaint, the rooms are small, but very nice. Clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, friendly staff. What more is there? Unless you're staying here long term with 10 kids in the room with you. And the hotel looks like it's had some updates to me. The lobby is beautiful and our room is not dated by any means. This is an oasis in the desert that provides excellent accomodations with great service given its location in western Texas. There is an excellent restaurant nearby at the El Capitan Hotel with a seclection of wine and beer to accompany a delicious meal - a must for all travelers. This hotel is dog friendly.

After a very long day on the road, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable. Everything we needed and wanted. Breakfast was good. And we got a snack bag on the way out in the morning. And they are very dog friendly!

Was a good place to stop very convenient between Dallas and Phoenix Arizona. Town had a nice choice of eating establishments and was easy to get around. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and it was friendly with good food. Will probably stop at this Hampton the next time we go to Phoenix to visit our friends.

There is no way that room should cost $154. I couldn't believe it. The price was a shock. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but I feel that $154 was way overpriced. The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly so I don't want to complain was the price is horrible
