I should have read these reviews first. However, my main issue is the location, and it's not easy to pull out onto the frontage road in the morning. It's rather dangerous, and noisy. Hotel is not up to the usual Fairfield Inn standards. I understand it's undergoing a renovation. However, the bed was comfy. TV and internet worked. Shower spray seemed a little weak.

Mtn Bike was stolen from vehicle after lock cable was cut minutes before 7am while we were having breakfast. Front desk employee argued couldn't access security cameras footage. Vehicle was parked in front of the hotel next to the front sign and loop 1604, very visible area. Reported to police, got no further contact from hotel. Hotel facilities are tired, aging. Elevator didn't work and room had some humidity odor that the family complained about... we had to spend the night so we dealt with i... Read more

Advice for hotel management and staff: Listen to your guests, even if you think they are wrong. It would be better for them to be proven wrong then you because you decided not to heed their request or advice. You should give Marlena a raise -she was our only friend at your hotel - you are in the HOSPITALITY industry. When she saw that people were waiting to depart and the yahoos on night shift didn't bother to properly note the reserved spots on the shuttle, she stepped in and put the van out... Read more

I'm in San Antonio, visiting family for Christmas. We have two rooms in a newly renovated wing. And when I say newly renovated, I mean they should still be locked off as they were painted the day before! New carpet too. The fumes hit me as soon as the elevator door opened. We changed rooms, and it seemed to help until we were settled in for the night. No one should be subjected to this smell, as it is toxic. And the rooms were locked up, the windows rendered useless, the air off on a 75 degree d... Read more

After the first night of staying in this hotel we considered changing. Not because anything was drastically wrong, but because nothing was that great either. We were traveling as a family and decided not to hassle with looking for another hotel. The first night my elderly mother-in-law was freezing in her room because the AC seemed to only be on at full blast, or off. I called down to the front desk to see if they had extra blankets (it was pretty late) I was told by the front desk that they... Read more

I've stayed at this motel many times in the past year or so. The staff is friendly and helpful, and willing to keep you happy. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. It's my favorite home from home when I'm working in San Antonio. Henry is exceptional.

Bad experience, booked room a month in advanced, arrived did not have any rooms available. They overbooked and did not bother to contact me with this information. Moldy bathrooms, muggy smell in rooms, dirty stairwells.

Very nice. Comfy beds, clean room, courteous staff, decent breakfast. Would stay here again. Glad we booked in advance, as they have been sold out the last two nights! Very convenient to lots of shops, restaurants and San Antonio in general

Great hotel! Very clean and close to many activities. The only downfall is the front desk staff that we encountered was not good. We are reward members, so when we made a call about our problem it was taken care of right away.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while vacationing in San Antonio. We got a good long term rate which made it worth it. We travel a lot and had stayed in all sorts of hotels from cheap ones to pricey ones. For this one, paying anywhere from $75 to $120 night would be adequate, but no more than that. The hotel is away from all the hassel and bustle of downtown San Antonio, but still close enough to get there in 15 minutes or so. It took us only 15 to 20 minutes to get to all the attractions...
