I had medical IV infusions a full week this month. We both were/are disabled and the RESIDENCE INN made it easy to arrive at Clinic and return to hotel. They were very helpful to my husband and me when we returned each day from the clinic. They either helped me to room in my wheelchair or helped my husband to get me in room via w/c. The rooms are great. Maid service is fine. The breakfast is very good. My only complaint is that the folks at the front desk hang out in the back room 80% of the time, and sometimes it is hard to get a hold of one of them. Also, it took three tries for them to locate a package that Amazon had delivered in the morning. They blew me off the first two times.

We were given a handicap room. Did not ask for one and didnâ??t want one. Rm 104....not a great room! Asked for a different room and told they were full. The shower sprayed everywhere. It has a walk-in shower with a curtain that doesnâ??t do much to keep the water off the floor, which results in a very slippery floor! Slipped on it twice! Used our towels to soak up the water! It's tucked away from busy HWY noise. Very safe and convenient location. Stephanie at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating! We had a special request for a fan because of my husband's snoring. She FOUND AND CLEANED a fan!! When I told her she didn't have to take it apart and clean it - I'd clean it etc. she smiled genuinely and said now what kind of Customer Service Rep would I be if I let you take this dirty fan??!! My son and I tagged along on my husband's business trip and stayed in a 2 queen bed suite. The room was spacious and had a good layout. Full sized refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishwasher were great. We got a crib for free for my 9mo old, and they even gave extra linens for the crib which was nice bc you never know when the baby will have a blowout diaper! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. I had to ask for body lotion at the front desk since it is not provided by housekeeping. Also, needed to ask for another roll of toilet paper. The hot tub didn't work on the day we wanted to use it. There is no shuttle service. Not much variety in the hot foods for breakfast - just scrambled eggs and sausage, sometimes biscuits and gravy. One day they ran out of fruit and didn't replace it. Not much variety in the fruit they provided.

My 3 star review is for the property only. My husband and I stayed there for three nights as we were in town for my son's graduation from Air Force Basic Training. We booked 3 nights. Check in was easy-our first night we stayed in room 116 on the first floor-the walls to the hotel were VERY thin-we were not able to sleep well-we could hear every footstep from above our room which we later found out had 7 people staying in it. I am not sure where to start. Let's start with the lady with the dog right by the food being served for dinner. It was not a service dog, and it was blocking access to the food. Disgusting is a nice word. The staff didn't seem to care. The hotel cannot pick its guests, but it can enforce something like "No dogs blocking the food in the lobby." The entire staff works together to maintain and improve the hotel and insure the happiness of their guests, and have built a solid reputation with travelers to San Antonio. During our recent stay, we enjoyed a spacious one-bedroom suite where we had plenty of space to spread out and excellent lighting for computer work and reading. Robert, the manager is wonderful and so helpful. The ladies in the kitchen and cleaning the rooms were all so kind and friendly. The room was clean and comfy. Huge breakfast every morning. Good location if your going for BMT graduation. Great place for all. We've stayed here twice and both times were spectacular!
