My husband and I went to Westgate to take a tour and our sales or person was named Tony. Tony arrived 30 minutes late after we had already been waiting there, and we have been told ahead of time that it was it would take one and a half hours. When we questioned him about the time because we had made other plans according to their time period, he told us very rudely that it will be done when they are finished and not a second before. He told us if we plan to continue to stay there with him that h... Read more

We bought a timeshare here a couple years ago and this was our first stay at the resort. We own some of the oldest cabins at This resort so I was a little apprehensive at how they would be. Also because of the fires everyone is staying in them so they are getting heavily used. We had a 1bedroom and a 1 suite we used. It is a beautiful spacious room with a cabin woodsy feel. Everything was great and the one problem we did run into (the air conditioner unit smelled a little musky) they sent someon... Read more

We got pulled into a vacation Club/timeshare presentation at the Westgate during our honeymoon. The indoor water park seemed run down and the resort is still suffering from a big fire a year ago. One of the two-bedroom rooms we saw was beautiful, and I enjoyed the gifts (show tickets and cash) we received. However, I felt we were treated poorly by one of the sales managers here, whom I found to be hostile, rude, and offensive. For this reason, I would not return.

We've been coming here since 2007 and love it. Even with the devastating fires last year there is so much to love about this resort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and being rebuilt even better. Our water aerobics instructor, April runs a fun class that is also a great workout geared to the younger and the young at heart alike! Great way to start every day here. Gym is fully equipped as well. Every single staff member we came across is courteous and knowledgeable. Any requests we h... Read more

Scheduled a three day trip here with my family. They start trying to sell the resort timeshares to you as soon as you show up (even though we did not opt for the timeshare half price option). When you arrive you start the normal check in process but are then greeted by a "personal concierge" who shows you around the resort. Once I realized that is what was going on I told her to just tell me where my room was. They then took me to the bus desk where they once again offered to help with the r... Read more

Water aerobics was fantastic. We needed the daily exercise to justify eating at Paula Deen's and the like. April gave us a great daily workout and tips for exercise that would benefit us when we were back home. April was friendly, helpful and encouraging. We would love to see personal training available as well as someone to tell us how to use the machines in the fitness room. Thank you for having water aerobics available!

We stayed with friends in 2 connected 1 bedroom units. Our building had not been burned down by last years fire, but many of the surrounding buildings had, and were being rebuilt. Construction noise was not bad for us, because we were gone all day to hike in the Smoky Mt. Park. They quit at night and on the weekend. While the fire did do lots of damage to the landscape, things are already greening back up, and we were not upset because we knew what to expect. This fire was devastating, and I thi... Read more
