I booked one night on booking.com for a discounted rate of $83. What I liked was that it is at the top of the hill off the main drag so you don't hear the road traffic and traffic was horrible. We strolled in about 6.30 pm and there was a football tournament in town for 10-12 year olds so our hotel was filled with them. Impossible to get anything for breakfast in the lobby, too many kids but on a normal day probably o.k. We were on the top floor so didn't hear anyone running up and down the ... Read more

We stayed two nights on our way home from a bigger vacation. We booked it for the SOLE reason that the rooms had recliners. My husband is disabled and needed something more substantial to sit in other than a normal "desk chair". I'd read a lot of conflicting reviews online, but figuring we were only "sleeping there" and for the money, we decided to give it a chance. I would say overall, that you definitely get what you pay for. It is WAY out of date, but I found the room to be overall clean... Read more

Our night stay had awful pillows and awful feeling bed. Breakfast was very limited continental with plain oatmeal not even brown sugar or honey to put on it...really not much of a selection and actually not worth price.

My wife and I decided at the last min to take a weekend trip to Gatlinburg. It was peak season so most had no vacancies. We ended up at Hotel Pigeon Forge. The Wifi didn't work, well it was sooooooooo slow wasn't much happening. It is fairly clean, I have stayed at worse hotels. I conservatively give it 3 stars. Wasn't bad, but I'm used to nicer accommodations.

We arrived aroumd 9 Pm. When we pulled down our bed covers there were small spots of blood on the bed, black hair, and a dirty tissue balled up . When we ask for room service was told we couldn't get clean sheets til 10am the next morning. The lady at the desk was extremely rude Would never stay here Oct 2016

I stayed here while doing a half marathon in the area. The hotel is older but my friends and I were happy with our stay. We were in the area to enjoy the outdoors so we didn't plan spending much time in our room. It was a good, quiet place to stay. It was affordable compared to other hotels in the area. It's located on the main strip in Pigeon Forge so it's close to many attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast selection was small but it did ... We always stay here when we come down for a weekend. However this time upon arrival as always we go in and check bed/pillows/ etc..... Because we are terrified of the bed bug epidemic everywhere nowadays. Upon going in and checking my mother husband and I all found evidence of bed bugs, a live bug in a seam of a pillow, and a hatch shell from where one had shed it's outer shell. We immediately reported it. Be very cautious! We always have a good experience when staying . Staff were all nice and ... Read more

Room was clean. Amenities were provided. Breakfast was provided, but I got there about 10 minutes before closing so most of the food was gone. Milk and juices were not available. It was too crowded so I did not take time to ask for these. Fruit would have been nice. Check-in was a breeze. I had prepaid and everything was handled quickly and competently. Staff was exceptionally friendly. I would stay in this hotel again.

My wife and I were told to check this quaint hotel out and we are glad we did. We were given a room near the back on the first floor. Yes, it is a dated hotel but which one isn't... you get what you pay for besides this is a tourist town as many of the hotels are dated. The rates were reasonable and the service was great, we really enjoyed the breakfast. We would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in about 15 hotels in the last 2 years. Most of them older, so I'm not unfamiliar with the difference in new vs. old properties. Old does not have to mean unclean, but unfortunately in this case, it did. Last minute Labor Day trip, so this hotel was the only one we could find. It was clearly very old from the outside. The lobby was reassuring... well lit, clean, homey... however, we had to wait 20 minutes for the clerk to return to the desk from wherever she was. By the time she ap... Read more
