I found this hotel while searching online and booked it for the great price. We were pleasantly surprised by this charmer. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and the restaurant was also very nice. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Our class had a mini reunion Saturday, September 30. While the hotel is very lovely ( no one stayed overnight as we are all local to the area), the food was very mediocre. The salad was all very dark green, wilted lettuce, chicken was good, but the bread filling was simply inedible, veggies were way undercooked, potatoes were fine as were the rolls, but the dessert was not to everyone's liking as it was pumpkin cheesecake. Nothing else was offered and many of us, including me, do not like cheese... Read more

Stayed 4 nights while traveling with a group. Very large and comfortable room. Immaculately clean with very comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Very quiet area eventho very close to highway, no highway noise at all. Breakfast buffet was hot, plentiful and very good.

We stayed here for an event at the Santander Center in downtown Reading. The Inn at Reading is only a 10 minute drive to downtown Reading, and it is right down the road from the VF Factory Outlets. The hotel is an older hotel/conference center, and it consists of several 2 level buildings spread out. The rooms are entered through interior hallways, and you need your room key to enter the building. Our room was very large. There were sinks outside the bathroom, as well as inside the bathroom, whi... Read more

Our experience was even better that the last time. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed everything the Inn has to offer. New carpet in hallways makes the hotel very inviting. The place looks much cleaner. The staff is very courteous and greets with smile. Pool was great for our kids. Restaurant has great food and excellent service. All you can eat Fish was our favorite. We can not think of any negative feedback. Its a clean comfortable hotel at reasonable price. We recommend this hotel.

Visited Reading for a couple days to view and complete the purchase on a vehicle. I looked for alternatives to the Hilton (loyal Hilton guy) since their price didn't really come close to other rates we found in town, and the Inn at Reading popped up. We were very pleasantly surprised with this property, very affordable and felt like we go exactly what we paid for. There are many rooms that are main floor, we liked that part because in and out was extremely easy. Dining is available on the proper... Read more

I enjoyed the room -- nice size, comfortable and quiet. The killer was housekeeping. If you're not out by about 9:00, your room won't be cleaned for the day. They don't make a second pass through the hall. I stayed the entire week after Christmas 2016, and it was this way every day. It gets worse, though: I accidentally left a cute, sequined Victoria's Secret nightshirt in the room the morning I checked out. I called the next day when I realized it, and they said they would check with housekeepi... Read more

This is a very comfortable hotel - great food, great service! Shaneika Howard was the housekeeper during our stay and she literally saved my life when I had a diabetic emergency! She is a blessing :-)

We spent a night at this hotel and had very good experience. At checking in, we requested a cot and as we entered in room from door number 4, the housekeeper was bringing a cot. We were impressed by her quick service and courteous nature. She placed it nicely in the room and asked us to call if anything else is needed. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It appeared as newly renovated. There were two vanities - one inside bathroom and one outside. It worked out great for three of ... Read more

I selected Reading because it was centrally located our far-flung guest list from Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster and King of Prussia. First I checked out several "events" locations, only to find they had large fees just for using the location plus the food and service charges. Then I scheduled appointments at several local restaurants. When I met with Larry, the events manager at the Inn, and he told me that they had a "tea party" menu at a very reasonable price, I said "sold". I must say ... Read more
