Convenient location if you are driving. It has lots of parking. This is an older model away from the downtown area. It has very nice decor inside the rooms. We found it clean and affordable. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows.

Our room (one queen bed) was very compact, but certainly workable. The bath was nicely remodeled. Our only glitch in six nights was a sluggish sink drain. It was fixed the same day as reported, a promptness of response that is rare in my experience. The location is really very good, with fairly easy access to local routes and highways. Along 3rd (Branch 97) one finds a dizzying array of eateries and shopping. The week we were there, the motel was quite full on weekends, but had plenty of spac... Read more

This is an affordable hotel close to all the major places in Bend. The rooms are large, really suites with refrigerator and microwave. Lots of good breakfast places nearby. Bed was comfortable and large. There is a pool, but I did not use it.

Nicely maintained hotel with nice staff. The rooms were not decorated in typical hotel style which was enjoyable. It felt more like staying in someone's guest room. The bed was comfortable. There is an outdoor pool and free wi-fi. The room rate is reasonable and does not include breakfast. The lightening was decent. Outlets were accessible.

This 'motel' was 1/2 the price of other Bend motels - very clean and the owners friendly and helpful. The room has a refrigerator with a glass front door - such a good idea for those of us who can forget things we have put into the refrig. No breakfast but coffee in the room - and lots of places nearby to eat.

I was wonderfully surprised with Cascade Lodge. When you pull into the parking lot, you see beautifully manicured grounds, buildings that were clean and neat, and an inviting pool area. Front desk person very pleasant. I was given a room on the end of one of the buildings and it was wonderful! King sized four poster bed and matching highboy dresser, nicely decorated, and pillows galore. The "kitchen" area had a microwave, coffee maker, and a wine fridge. Air conditioner was a bit loud but locate... Read more

We picked this place because it was one of the few at a reasonable price in Bend that is set back from the road. As we hoped, it was relatively quiet. The most pleasant surprise is that it was the most environmentally conscious lodging that we stayed at while travelling through Oregon. They have real - instead of plastic - glasses, and ceramic cups in the rooms. That reduces waste. And they have warm bed covers (blanket & and a comforter) which reduces energy use.

We booked to stay at Cascade Lodge through Booking.com back in January. Turn up after a long day hiking to be told there is a problem and we can't stay. Owner takes us to his sister hotel next door, proceeds to overcharge us for a terrible room, bath peeling, long hair everywhere. Unfortunately we were to tired to argue but never again!!! If you don't want to be ripped off and risk being put in a below par motel avoid this one.

My eyes started burning as soon as I walked into the room. I have had chemical sensitivities before in a hotel which landed me in the emergency room with severe asthma. There was no way I could have stayed in this room. The owner's son oddly did not smell a thing, and just kept trying to say the room was fine! Even my teenage son did not want to risk staying in the room. We literally just were in the room for maybe 3 minutes and our eyes were burning. They refused to give us a refund on our card... We spent three nights at the Cascade Lodge visiting family. The grounds were kept in beautiful shape and all facilities were well cared for. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom was large and featured real tile (with a 50s kind of vibe), a good shower, and nice appointments (including good towels). Like most motor inns built in the 50s-60s, there is only one floor and the rooms open directly to the outside. The parking lot was always full and it was difficult to find a place to p... Read more
