I liked that the pool was on the second floor...as well as the piano anyone can play. The steak I ordered from the restaurant was perfect too. The staff is also some of the best around. And you canā??t beat the price!

This is an older hotel with worn furnishings in the rooms. The common areas have been nicely updated. Bed was comfortable & room clean. I selected this hotel for its charm & history. Located in downtown area of Canton & across the street from First Ladies Museum. You have to pay for parking $8 across the street parking garage with enclosed covered walkway.

Second stay at this hotel. Breakfast is still good, rooms are still nice, and there seems to be signs of improvement. Bar was actually open this time. Workout area could use a coat of paint, equipment was decent. My only complaint was the horribly slow wifi.

The rooms were large and comfortable, but the cleanliness was less than desirable. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was very so-so, nothing to brag about. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The location is excellent to downtown Canton, especially the First Ladies Museum and the McKinley Museum. Parking is in a public lot across the street. We were awakened at 3am by men working picking up trash next door-not the hotel's fault of course but still a real nuisance.

Stayed 2 nights with a friend. We were in town for the Little C Music Festival which was great. The hotel was in a perfect location for our purposes. The price was great. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. I got 2 great nights sleep. The decor is a little dated but perfectly fine for just have by a home base. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were told about parking on the street where weekends were free. We parked around the corner and just paid $1.50 for 2 hours ... Read more

My wife and I were in town for a wedding hosted at the McKinley Grand in Canton. The staff was wonderful and very hospitable. The rooms were spacious and quiet. As other reviews, somewhat dated, but very clean and comfortable. Free WiFi and complimentary breakfast were very convenient. I'd recommend staying while visiting the area.

I was in Canton with my girlfriend for a wedding that was being held at the hotel. The staff are more than pleasant and are very willing to assist and answer questions. The accommodations, however, are dated and average. The room was fairly small for what I was expecting and had antiquated decoration. Typical furniture and amenities there - bed, desk, office chair, coffee maker, hair dryer, no fridge or safe or anything else typically found in suites. The bathroom was also pretty small, but adeq... Read more

I attended a wedding last weekend at the McKinley Grand Hotel. The staff was amazing. The food, service, and the overall experience were wonderful. We had such a great time. I would definitely love to come back!

This hotel can't help that it was built during a tragic architectural period, and sadly for a downtown trying to reinvent itself, this is the only downtown option. That had better change if Canton is to be a destination. The place is filthy and broken-down, especially the halls and rooms. Doors are dented, plumbing is poor, lighting insufficient, and the rooms are so cavernous that noise echoes. One would not bathe their dog in the swimming pool much less put their toe in the water. The only hop... Read more

Stayed there for a youth football tournament, so it was crazy to begin with. Older hotel, but it was clean. On site lounge, pool and downtown location. The parking leaves something to be desired, as there is a parking garage next door. But the hotel has nothing to do with it, and it was eight dollars a day. We were told we could park around the hotel, and that it was free on weekends, just kind of sketchy. Looks nice, it is clean, not sure if it is quiet, as we had fifty kids running around, but...
