I stay here every year for a conference, and I always look forward to it. The rooms are always clean, beds are very comfortable, and the location is great for walking and exploring the downtown area. There is a restaurant downstairs, and while it is on the pricey side, the food is good. Valet parking is expensive, but there is also a parking ramp across the street where you can self-park for a lesser fee.

Stayed here recently for a night while on business. Staff at check in were friendly and very helpful. Slight disappointment with the room which just felt a little dated. The facilities in the room were ok - although the bathroom is a little small - and the bed was comfortable. Overall the experience was fine

I was just traveling through North Carolina on business and came across this hotel in the middle of Winston-Salem. The rooms were very nice, and it was among the nicest Marriott staffs I have encountered. Not a bad weekend getaway spot, with a downtown that was more vibrant than expected.

Beautiful hotel and superior customer service. Valet and self parking available. If you self park, there is a covered walkway over the street to the hotel. Remember your coat as the walkway is not heated. Our room was a double queen. Clean with the exception of some marks on the walls. The room was a little crowded. We traveled as a family of 3 (2 adults and teen), and were upgraded to a 'suite' at check-in due to Platinum status. Gentleman who checked us in was lovely. He indicated concierge was open with drinks and heavy apps and that desserts would be served at 8:30. We went up at 7:45pm and the whole place was shut down. Lights off and everything. Weird. Since I have a child in school in Winston-Salem, I make frequent trips to the area and I LOVE this property. My recent experience however, made me really appreciate the terrific customer service even more. My husband and I stayed the weekend of December 17-19, 2016. I spend a lot of time on the road, which is why I am a Marriott Rewards Platinum Elite member. This hotel is the typical Marriott: nice lobby, friendly staff, clean room, super-comfortable bed, etc. But what makes this Marriott special is the Sarah - the Club Lounge attendant who works the breakfast shift. Stayed here one night in December, and it was a great place! We luckily were upgraded to the club level, which had amazing views and the breakfast in the morning was very good! The club level attendant for breakfast was so nice and friendly! Beds were very comfortable and the staff in general were all very nice and accommodating! Would highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at the Winston-Salem Marriott in June while attending a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. The room was luxurious, and we enjoyed both a dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet each morning of our stay. Each morning, we awoke refreshed and ready for the day's program.

Beautiful place. Room was clean, beds soft and comfortable, hotel Centrally located within walking distance to many things. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Only negative was the parking is a bit pricey.
