as long as you don't mind the fact that this was once a funeral parlor, it is a great place to stay: plenty of fine rooms, great tv and wonderful snacks, as well as a free breakfast, and Tina the owner is a real character with a good soul. interesting people stay here and it is a fun Inn.

The historic B&B was great to stay in. Tina was a great host and the breakfast was yummy. The history about the building and architectural details were amazing. Off street parking was also a nice addition.

Charming old building on the corner of a busy street. We didn't mind staying at the slightly run down neighborhood as long as we felt completely safe inside Olde Judge Mansion. Other reviewers say it can get noisy, but honestly, my husband and I were so tired after a long day of new student orientation at RPI, we slept like babies. To me, owners of B&B's are special kind of people as there's no middle man between you and your guests, and you really have to love what you do to be the inn keeper 2... Read more

What a wonderful place to visit. I was staying for 3 days while I attended a workshop in Troy. Price was amazingly cheap and Tina was so welcoming that I felt like I was visiting a relatives home. The only inconvenience is that the private bathroom is down the hall. Which only adds to the feeling of being in a home and not a hotel.

We often visit Troy and the Olde Judge Mansion is our favorite place to stay. This old Victorian mansion has been beautifully restored and maintained, The owner, Tina, is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast she serves is outstanding.

Nice, clean place to stay. Good value. Tina was very friendly and served a great made to order breakfast. If you're visiting RPI it's a great, overnight , close place to stay. If you are visiting RPI you can get a discount which I thought was great.

LOVELY Old Victorian Home and furnishings! Room= just fine. Bathroom down the hall=inconvenient. EXCELLENT, pleasant & helpful Host & YUMMY made-to-order Breakfasts! Run-down (dangerous?) in-town Neighborhood location. Lots of street traffic.

This was my first bed & breakfast experience and it did not disappoint. I was quite surprised to find this place so close to RPI and in a not appealing part of Troy. Despite the area this place satisfies my needs of a cozy place to sleep with the added bonus of a fully stocked breakfast home made by the innkeeper, Tina.

Had a great time visiting Troy while staying at the Olde Judge Mansion. Tina does a great job making the guest feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. The house was built in 1892 by my Great Grandmothers father so it was nice to see that Tina had brought the building back to life and people are enjoying the homestay feeling. I will be staying again on my next trip.

We passed through Troy on a college tour excursion and stayed here to visit RPI. If you're looking for a historical, authentic place to stay, then this is the place for you. The hostess was very detailed on all of her instructions, cooked a perfect breakfast to order, and was well versed in the history of the area.
