If visiting Syracuse University there simply is no better place to stay than the Sheraton. Located at the top of University Avenue it is right across the street from the main entrance. It's also an excellent hotel: the rooms are very clean and up-to-date, they're quiet (we didn't hear a peep from outside or from our neighbors when we stayed in room 325 - it also has a view of the campus), free wifi and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only beef - parking is $15/day.

I stayed at the Sheraton for two weeks while on business. The hotel is clean, with good amenities for a more extended stay. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and there are also several places to eat including various economically priced international options across the street. The hotel's best feature is its location, and it's proximity to Syracuse University. Overall, the service was good, and I would stay at this Sheraton again.

I have stayed in about 6 Sheraton properties and over 15 SPG properties around the globe. This hotel is clean, comfy and well located. Parking is a bit pricey (~$16/night) but you can enter/exit all you want. The Club Lounge has some decent breakfast and the staff is great. If you're attending any events at SU (even games), this is a nice place to stay. If you're looking for a upscale experience, then you should look elsewhere.

Came in last night near midnight (Thursday). I was obviously tired after a 5-hour drive. Front desk kept asking to see my ID. It appears someone with the same name had already checked in (what are odds? Lol). It was annoying but the manager was there and was nice about it. Room is large with two TVs. Itā??s a standard room so quality for the price is great. The hallways do smell like mothballs and look run down, but the rooms are nice (at least my room and hallway were as such). Phones here ... Hotel is right in the center of the college area of Syracuse - Syracuse University, SUNY Upstate Medical and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry . Walk to decent restaurants. Clean, friendly staff.

We stayed here for a couple nights and I thought it was a great hotel. We upgraded to club which for the price, was definitely worth it. Snacks, sodas and the one night they had some kind of egg roll and meatballs along with antipasto. Breakfast was a little skimpy, some things might have been out for a second day but very good. The room and bathroom were both very clean, with nice toiletries and I really enjoyed the decor.

Stayed for 1 night to attend a campus recruiting event. Beautiful comfortable room with Starbucks coffee, a robe, safe, and comfy beds , refrigerator. Staff was welcoming and helpful. On second day they let us into the luggage room to retrieve a change of clothing and put back other clothing. Shuttle service to and from airport was terrific. Highly recommend. We did get a discount rate for the event.

Fine location. Walkable area and safe. Hotel was convenient, clean, and quiet. Staff were all nice. Would stay here again but felt it was a touch pricey for the town and time of the year. It still liked it. Not a lot of options in the area. Would recommend this one

The staff were great, the room was very comfortable, could be tweaked just a little bit more as far as handicapped accessibility, but overall it's a Great place to stay and there are a lot of restaurant's around the area!

We chose to stay here because my spouse had to go to the VA hospital two days in a row. Rather than driving an hour back and forth two days in a row after a procedure in the winter, we found this hotel close by. This was very close to the hospital which was great. The room was very quiet and comfortable which made it great to rest. The staff was also very friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good and large portions. I only had two issues. 1) parking in the garage is $15.00 per night... Read more
