I am Marriott Gold Elite, so try to stay at Marriott's when possible as the extra perks can make a stay very worthwhile, stumbled across this hotel as the price was well below comparable hotels in the Marriott/Starwood portfolio. Overall a great value, Lexington was about $50-100/night less that comparable hotels. Arrived very early since we came in on a red-eye, was expecting to have to drop off luggage and come back in a few hours but to our surprise when we checked in the friendly lady at t... Read more

Great 'old style' feel hotel but with all modern, professional surroundings. Great for business and getaways. Within walking distance to both small and big attractions (Times Square, great eating, shopping, Rockefeller, etc). Had a great corner room - and not a cookie-cutter type - real character. Great price for the value/location/style. Hope to stay there again sometime.

BAD FOLLOW UP SERVICE!!! We stayed in Dec 2016. Reservation was under colleague name Marriott High level--Kimura. I agreed to pay $739.10 for my portion--other person stayed longer. Lexington chg my credit card the entire amount! They won't rectify this problem & now it's almost 2months!! I called & emailed both Dolly Htoo and Henry Lew in accounting & nobody seems to know what's going on or can fix this!! BAD SERVICE. To top it off they changed the room locks when we were staying there & our do... Read more

Recently visited the Lexington with my family and had a absolutely wonderful time. The hotel was very nicely decorated, especially for the Holiday season. It was elegant and modern. The hotel offered complimentary bottles of water, coffee and tea in the lobby to guests and it also had a bar and a Starbucks on the premises. They offered free wi-fi and a comfortable lounge area in the lobby to relax after a day of sight seeing. Our room was clean and beautiful decorated. The staff were exceptional... Read more

We were fortunate to spend a week here before travelling for six weeks. We also struck it during the us open tennis tournament and many of the world class players stayed here so it was nice to see the players up close. The room was spacious for 2 but we overlooked a building site which was going up. Staff were friendly and very obliging. If you wanted to know a good restaurant the bell boys were the ones to ask. There was a Starbucks downstairs but if you wanted the best coffee in town ther... Read more

The good: Nice linens, excellent staff, great amenities The bad: Sleep quality is low Bottom Line: There are worse places, good for visitors who won't spend much time in room We live in Long Island and spend nights in the city when we're seeing shows etc. We spent 2 nights here. The first night we barely got any sleep because the bed wasn't very comfortable and the room next to us was playing music and talking, sounded like a party. Either way, we didn't feel like making a fuss and didn't say a... Read more

I have been to New York several times and this happens to be my favorite hotel. It is beautifully decorated and has great rooms. The rooms aren't too spacious but that is often the case with New York hotel rooms. The starbucks and resturaunt attached were very convient. Also, if you plan on shopping this is the place to be. It is surround by several shops and is convent if you would like to drop stuff back off at the hotel. Another bonus is complimentary drinks that they offer.

Positives: - complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water in the lobby - nice lobby - terrace (if your room has one) - location - very friendly staff Negatives: - double room had two full size beds rather than queens - beds are not comfortable (both mattress and bedding- we prefer duvets, not thin bedspreads) - wifi is not included - room was very small

This hotel is centrally located and close to public transportation, but it was the outstanding service that made our stay so wonderful. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and anxious to make our stay better than we expected. The building is an older building, but it has great history and has been tastefully remodeled. The jazz decor is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Our expectations were far exceeded. We can hardly wait to return.
