1/2 a block to Javits center. Room was pretty ugly. Window did not have a pull shade so very light in room. Noisy inside room as 11th ave roars with trucks. Single small elevator. Breakfast was typical-powdered eggs and sausage patty (stay away) but rest was usual fare. Have a drink after the event then just fall asleep as this is all it was good for.

I stayed here for 2 nights, sharing a king room with my daughter. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay. The room itself was underwhelming, however when you are staying for a few nights on a tight budget, this hotel does tick a lot of boxes. If you want luxury - this is not the hotel for you - there are plenty others which can tick this box. The bed was super comfy and the complimentary breakfast was brilliant. This hotel is tired and in need of an update, however the s... Read more

The only good thing is that is 2 min walk from the convention center and the staff is nice. One elevator means you may end up waiting 10 min just to catch one that is not full in the morning. The breakfast area is way too crowded and it's hard to find a seat. No fridge in the room, the curtains don't close so you have the "pleasure" of enjoying the New York city lights at night. TV reception is scatchy, rusty stain on the bathtub, sink doesn't drain well and something that looked like a bloody s... Read more

Hotel needs serious renovation and upgrading. The rooms are very small and the carpets need a good clean. Complimentary breakfast was awful cold and tasteless with not a selection of food at all really. Staff are very friendly and pleasant thatā??s the only reason I gave even 1. Do not visit here spend your money elsewhere

Would not recommend this hotel. Despite being an expensive room it was very small and old. Carpet was worn out, lift was very slow. Mattress protector was old and had a large stain on it. The mattress protector was replaced immediately once we mentioned it which was good. Breakfast was good although seating was difficult as not many spare seats.

I am hoping that a major renovation is in store for this hotel as much needs to be updated and fixed. For the cost, it was a significant disappointment even though check-in and service staff were friendly. The lobby itself looked like low cost housing with rundown carpeting, old worn and minimal lobby seating, and gloomy lighting. We were unsure that we actually reached the hotel as there was no signage at the door. No porters awating to help either. Location : Near the Javits convention centr... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights and had a good stay. Hotel is a budget, no frills hotel. No fridge in the room and small. It was, however clean and comfortable and served a good breakfast in the morning (included) Do not expect anything fancy at it is a 2* Hotel. The location, however, is excellent and we walked everywhere. But walking back the last few 100 meters to the hotel is dodgy as there are homeless sleeping on the pavements. So walk in a crowd and be vigilant at night, in the day it is not a pro... Read more

Tv reception very bad, 5/6 channels not even clear. After 4th night was moved to another room wasn't better. Lobby TV is very clear. Breakfast is OK. Mold in shower/bath combo. Comfy bed. Only thing good. Would not recommend.

Firstly the positives Great breakfast, just what you need to set you up for the day. Great beds very comfy Negatives Only one lift and so very slow at peak times stopping at every floor The room isn't small the bed is just huge but it's fine for the few days you will be in the city. Now this bring the score right down for me. On arrival they asked for a card which is normal. However they failed to mention that the were holding $100 on it. If I knew this I would of given a different card.... Read more

The room was nothing fancy, but had 2 comfortable beds and coffee making facilities. It is a very tired building and could do with a complete makeover. Our room was adequate, as we only really slept there, but the carpet was filthy. Luckily I took slippers to wear, and had to throw them away as the soles were filthy and didn't want to put them in the case. The breakfast was 'ok', but it did save us from looking for somewhere to eat, but again, it could do with a good clean! The plugs near t... Read more
