Checked in and went to my room only to find a piece of gum on top of the nightstand. Aside from that the room was clean though no shampoo which is customary. Breakfast was bare bones. Waffles if you wanted them, hard boiled eggs, machine coffee. Front desk staff friendly but hard to overlook the gum.

We normally travel back and forth to Florida from Mass, We have 2 Italian Greyhounds and ALWAYS stay at LaQuinta. We have never had a bad experience. Their locations are suitable for all travelers. They offer a great breakfast and it is just a great value, You cannot go wrong staying at this hotel chain. We recently had a dinner party and had our guest book rooms up the street from the Restaurant for safety and well all had a great experience.

I'm from the U.K and had high expectations from a US hotel and I was not disappointed. Checkin was simple and for the duration of my stay the staff could not have been any more helpful, especially Doris . Breakfast was simple but filling. The rooms where large and comfortable, mine had a fridge and microwave . Definitely returning!

The room we stayed in for three nights was not once ever cleaned by housekeeping, and if it was, their version of cleaning is pulling the bed covers up, looking into the corner for five minutes and leaving. This hotel is at least 30 years old and it shows. Paint chipping, faded and stained carpeting, door hinges and knobs rusted and breaking. We have been transplanted from OKlahoma to New Hampshire. Our house will not be ready until late January. Your hotel staff,minus a few, are top notch. We arrived Saturday the 12th of November and they immediately checked us in. Doris Hennessey has always made sure that we are beyond comfortable. check out time was at 12:00 PM - we found a letter from the Hotel under our door when we arrived late from our evening out telling us they were shutting the water off at 10:00 AM the following day - so we had to get up early and shower and leave. It was very disappointing, not sure I would stay there again

Reasonable rates; clean and comfortable rooms; friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast comes with the room rate which is helpful for guests and especially those families traveling with children. Outdoor pool is a plus during summer months - and a small exercise room is available as well.

Always a turnoff when there are several people socializing at front desk on check-in. First time lousy experience at this hotel. I have been travelling on road for 30 plus years. This reminded me of Portland, Maine and seeing two police cruisers at front door. It was after 9:00 at night, initially ignored by fromdesk staff due to large group around desk making time with staff.

Stayed here with family over Columbus Day weekend. Had a great first night but on second night, there we a party going on in room above us with loud bass. It took 4 calls to front desk from 10pm until after 12:30am to rectify the noise problem. When I contacted the manager by email upon our return home, he only offered his apologies but no compensation for our inconvenience -- terrible customer service.

1. One of the beds was broken. Literally almost flipped over on us. No other rooms were available and was met with less than stellar response from staff. 2. Room (particularly bathroom) smelled horribly of wet dog. 3. Toilet wouldn't flush and when reported I was met with a smile and a "we comped your room" but no one came to fix it.
