This hotel lacks maintenance big time. Mold on the bathroom baseboards and the windows as well as the caulking in the shower. No fans in the bathrooms at all. Our room was heated by plug in electric heaters. The main electric drop coming in to the building was down to almost bare wire. If there had been any other place to stay we would have moved.

The hotel was affordable, and the location was great. Minutes away from the Ice Castle, the reason why we came yo visit the area. It is an old motel, but clean, the heat worked, they had free wifi. The young lady that checked us in was friendly. The television had limited amount of station. It was fine for an overnight stay. I think if i stayed longer and had more activities planned in the area , i probably would have stayed, where there was an indoor pool, and more cable stations because it not... Read more

We stayed at this little Motel two years in a row. It's basic but it's comfortable and they let us bring our dog. Beautiful Rocky Brooke/river out back. Close to many attractions. We love it and will go again!

Looks quite dated from the outside; accommodation is a number of cabins. It was nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room, which was a bit small, though there was a table where I could use my laptop. In the summer you could sit out on the porch. The guy at reception was really friendly. You could get coffee there in the morning, which I didn't realise - he should have told me. My main complaint is it's so far out of town, though all the hotels seem to be located in that area.

I was a bit hesitant about choosing this hotel because of some of the reviews, but it seamed like my best option in the area for the night, so I decided to check it out. The man at the front desk was very friendly when I arrived and let me take a look at the cabins and the motel before I booked for the night. I thought I wanted a cabin because I like the idea of it, but after inspecting both, I'd say the motel part of this hotel is a better offering, mostly because I felt the bathrooms were bett... This was one of the least expensive options when we booked our last minute trip to NH over Columbus Day weekend. I understood what kind of place we were going to from the reviews so there were no surprises. The room was heated by a space heater, which kept us toasty warm. Very much an old school mom and pop motel experience.

We stayed in a cabin and it was like glamping. Nothing more but nothing less either. Very basic but it was clean and the heat worked. The rate was very expensive for what you get, but considering the crazy leafing weekend that we were there, and that everywhere else was sold out it is to be expected.

In planning a hiking trip to Franconia Notch with my son, I had found this motel listed at a good price. The reviews all indicated this was a no-frills, but quaint, clean, and friendly place to stay. After staying for Columbus Day Weekend, I couldn't agree more. All rooms were full, and we were staying in one that was smaller than the rest, but it was perfect for just the two of us. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, flat-screen television with cable, free WiFi, a large comfortable bed, and a c... Read more

I had booked a 2 night stay while planning a hiking trip in the area. I actually did not stay here so can not give a complete review but I wanted to post a thank you! Unfortunately I had a hiking accident the day I was to check in & ended up in the emergency room with a fractured leg. I decided it was best for me to just drive straight back home instead of trying to stay anywhere and dealing with crutches etc. The hotel was on my way home so stopped in to talk to the office. The proprietor ... Read more

We had a challenge finding somewhere to stay in the Lincoln area on a very busy fall weekend. Decided this would be ok based on reviews here. The gps could not find the address given online. Use Daniel Webster highway instead! The room was very dated and worn, but it was clean and smelled good. The location is out of town, and be aware there is nowhere nearby for coffee or food. You need to drive a way for anything.
