This is a very corporate environment and does not have the Ritz Carlton "it is my pleasure" philosophy. I had a lovely Swedish aromatherapy message and steam room experience. There were not enough hair dryers when I was there. I broke a nail and needed a nail file and so they had me go to the nail salon down the hall and she said she could not give /lend me one.

Stayed at the Mandalay Bay February 1-3, 2017. I haven't stayed here since 2009. I think the rooms have been refurbished since then, as they look so different. I loved being on the 27th floor. The view was great. Once in my room, I would have never known I was in a hotel with a Casino. No smoke and it was so quiet. The room was clean and the bathroom well lit. Besides my meeting in Henderson, we stayed in the hotel. The Shoppes at Mandalay have dining and shopping options. We ate at the Italian ... Read more

Food was just okay, no surprise at all. I thought we would have more choices on the seafood, but I barely saw a variety of seafood options. It might be the price we were paying for. We expected a hotel like this could offer more, but it was just a little disappointment. Wait staff Lina was very attentive. She came to ask if we were doing ok very often. Friendly smile and being attentive all the time made us left her a 30% tips on our table. I observed other tables in our dining area, people gen... Read more

The resort room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was wonderful. It had a separate shower and soaking tub with double sink vanity. Our king resort room and a view overlooking the pool/beach area and the airport. At first we were concerned about airport noise, but it was not a problem. It was actually neat to watch the planes take off and land especially in early morning light. I had been warned about Vegas being so expensive, but had not been forewarned about the $30 a day resort fee.... Read more

First off, the bay king suite was a really nice room. However, the mobile check in is a complete joke. We checked in online after arriving at the airport. When we arrived, all 6 of the mobile check in machines did not work. Nobody bothered to place an out of order sign on the machines. After waiting 1 hour in the normal check in line at 7:45 am on Wednesday morning, I told the front desk about the machines not working and the lady made a BS excuse. Next, this place is just way too expensiv... Read more

My room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very white and clean. The bathroom had an amazing bath tub. The only down fall was the price of the items that are weighted in the fridge, very expensive. I didn't like that the coffee was not complimentary in the rooms. I paid enough for the room for that to be included. Over all easy access to my convention. This hotel had an amazing pool and beach area. When I go back to Vegas I will stay here again definitely.

Mandalay Bay is a part of the MGM chain of casino hotels. It used to have a reputation that placed it in the lower tier of the top handful of hotels in Vegas. I was in Vegas for a week and visited several other resorts including Mirage, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, The Rio,Venetian and several downtown hotels. In each case, I found a wider selection of eating options than at Mandalay. All of the MGM people I met were terrific and tried to be helpful but the company has tied Their hands. I am told... I think this is one of the better hotels in Vegas! Take price vs quality into consideration and it's in the top 5! The rooms are excellent and large. The facilities are great, especially the swimming pool is amazing. In winter there is a smaller pool open, which is nice as othere hotels (like MGM) close the pool for the season. Great choice of restaurants and buffet is nice too. Casino is big. make sure to book thrue the M-life players club for the best deals.

We were looking for a place with live music after attending the Joe Walsh concert at HOB. We had come here prior to the show for a couple of drinks and decided to come back and visit our friendly bar tender. We were impressed with the great service at the bar and the live music, There was a Frank Sinatra look alike guy playing that night, But sang all genre's of music and lots of dancing, I am sorry but I cannot remember names, LOL. Needless to say we stayed until they closed and had a blast w... Read more

Just checked into Mandalay bay, February 6th 2017. Room 33110 Check in was quick and friendly. Upon arrival to the room there's a strange doorbell on the outside that is very annoying when pressed. Inside the room is filthy, dirty fingerprints on light fixtures, hair on shower walls. Very disappointed for the price.
