I was at The D for a sales banquet in the Detroit Ballroom on February 11th. I was running late due to traffic and having trouble finding the ballroom. I stopped a young man (I believe he was a security guard, mid 20s very clean cut gentleman. I didn't catch his name.) and asked him if he could tell me where the ballroom was. He told me it was on the 12th floor and before I could ask how to get there he said he would show me to the elevators. This was great because I could tell I stopped him whi... Read more

Played a while on the slop machines in The D casino at Fremont Street. The casino is nice and clean but was a bit too smoky for me. Went upstairs to the 2nd floor for lunch. Had a great brisket sandwich with a bucket full of fries. My wife had the chicken marsala which was also very good. Great place to spend some time.

Great time. Great casino. Happening place 24/7. Thanks again Banksy. The D has everything you'd want in a casino/hotel in Vegas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to check out the Long Bar. See you again soon.

I usually stay on strip but once in a while I'll switch it up & stay downtown. So far I've tried the Plaza (horrible) & the Nugget (so so). To date the D is by far the best hotel I've stayed at on Fremont. The rooms are decently renovated with nice modern bathrooms, Bath & Body Works toiletries, tasteful decor, medium size flat panel tv & a room safe. No vending machines in this hotel was a downside as the convenience of grabbing a drink or snack close by was not there. One must go to the hotel... Read more

Trip from 2/4 - 2/8, room 2326. I had known about the noise problem with the D based on some of the reviews. I was ready for the loud noise that be coming from Fremont Street Experience because of the bands that play up until late at night. What I wasn't prepared for was the poor quality of the building and house keeping. The first time I tried to shower there was no hot water. For most of the trip I showered with lukewarm water that occasionally got hot. One of the pillows had dried bloo... Read more

Well the drinks at the D are free flowing and if you play Blackjack you'll get better odds than almost anywhere on The Strip. I was staying at The Palazzo and couldn't find a 3:2 table anywhere even at $50 per hand. Wished that I had stayed here a bit longer! Still I won a good amount of money at the property, had fun with friends and it's great odds in a nice party atmosphere.

This was our second stay at the D. We stayed for our anniversary last year and because that stay was so great, and they gave us free nights to stay again this year, we decided we would do a repeat anniversary trip. I called in advance to book our room for Feb 1st - Feb 4th. They explained that there would be $100 hold on a credit card that we would get back at the end of our stay. I was fine with that. Later we decided because my husband also received 3 free nights, that we would book an additio... Read more

This place was a fun stop while traveling through Freemont street. We walked in and were quickly greeted by a nice hostess that quickly asked if we had a player card. She quickly signed us up and gave us a complementary gift. We were also greeted by servers asking if we wanted a drink. This was such a nice experience that we may even stay here on our next trip out. One last thing: USE LYFT OR UBER AND SAY NO TO TAXI'S when traveling around Vegas!!!

This was our first stay at The D. This hotel was renovated about three years ago. The common areas are very nicely decorated in vibrant colours and vintage artwork. These areas were kept spotless. Our room was on the 33rd floor, facing west, with a great view of the mountains and overlooking the other downtown hotels. Our bathroom was very modern with a large walk-in shower, and large modern acrylic vanity. Six days out of the seven days that we stayed, housekeeping was done while we went for br... Read more

The D Hotel and Casino was located smack bang in the middle of the wonderfully outrageous and glitzy old Las Vegas in Fremont St. The hotel room was quite basic, but clean. The Andiamo food place had tasty meals. Being able to walk out the front foyer and into all the glitzy lights and watch live bands playing was such a great experience. Would stay there again.
