Small hotel near downtown, directly across the street from the Coliseum, apparently recently renovated. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful, though her English language skills were limited. Our room was clean and odor-free, and very quiet-- especially considering we were just a few blocks from the interstate. Everything in the room worked properly, the bed was comfortable and the AC ran quietly. There was a large flat screen tv with Direct TV channels. The complimentary breakfast included egg... Read more

This hotel appears to be a brand new building near the Jackson Fairgrounds and the Mistletoe store with easy access just off i-55. The rooms are spacious and very well laid out and lit. Our room with one king included a sofa in a parlor area separated from the sleeping area. Everything wa bright and shiny. The bedding was high quality and new. A fitness room and a breakfast room that was built to be just that so it is pleasant and relaxing. So it is a first rate facility at a very good ra... Read more

This hotel is clean, comfortable, plenty roomy, recently renovated, away from noise and traffic, has a really good free breakfast, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It's close to the state fairgrounds and state capital. We found a quaint little restaurant called The Pizza Shack that had really good food.

I hate writing poor reviews, but feel that after our stay it's necessary to pass the word along. First off, do not book a room in advance if you are traveling through and aren't 100% sure that you want you to stay there. They have a 24hr in advance cancellation policy. We were traveling from Texas back home to Alabama with 2 toddlers and called back only a few hours after making our reservations and kindly asked if we could transfer our reservations to a different comfort inn closer to home sinc... I would not recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone. They are not adequately staffed. Consequently, maintenance is part time, rooms are not cleaned, and the customer service is terrible. We paid for three rooms and daily there were problems.

Not far off the interstate. Not far from downtown; State Capitol Museum, Governor's mansion, etc. When checking in the young lady want rude but hard to understand and not really friendly. I read it has been updated and i can see that. Very small hotel which was nice for breakfast and i guess the pool. The pool was in bad shape. We checked in after 3 and went to the pool at 5. The skimmers were not working so pool was full of debris. Beer cans, cups, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, a weave, etc... Read more

I've stayed in several Comfort Inns. This one is remodeled. Still, our room had a huge gouge in the wall where the door had hit it and the room seemed small. We also got a short burst of rusted water the first time we turned on the shower faucet. The desk attendants were friendly, but one was on her personal phone (voice call) for an extended period of time. That's a pet peeve of mine.

We are here for MS Comic Con. I was wary of the location as it is directly across the street from the Trade Mart and just up from downtown but this place is awesome! Small hotel but updated, nice, comfortable, quiet clean room. Would definitely recommend!!

The service was terrible. The lady at the front desk was difficult to understand due to a very thick foreign accent and mumbling. She had agreed to give us rooms next to each other (we were staying with another family) and then did not allow us to have next door rooms. We did not have any bedding for the couch bed and when we asked for some we had to go get it and received one flat sheet, one thin blanket, and one small pillow (for two people). The breakfast was mostly stale. The room was not te... Read more

We had a stay recently and it felt like we were the only ones there minus a few more cars. The area was very isolated behind a fast food restaurant and in an industrial area. The rooms were really small but were fairly clean at least. The grounds needed to be cleaned up and the breakfast wasn't good. My son wouldn't drink the milk because it was bad and the "hot" items were all done via a microwave. I wouldn't stay here again. Picture is a view from our room.
