You'd think that the front desk might have mentioned that there is a MAJOR construction project across the street that has been, and by the looks of it, will be going on for YEARS to come. Pile driving started at 6:55 am sharp and continued until check out. I don't believe that I'm the first person to mention this and I can not believe that they would think this is an issue that could be overlooked, I'm cranky, tired, and would not book a Marriott for quite some time. Erica in the morning, Joe at night. Excellent Service in the Concierge Lounge! I stay only once a year for travels but these two employees are beyond amazing! They are both friendly and courteous. If you need something beyond their normal services they will go the extra mile. Thank you for such great service.

We booked one night on new years eve mostly for business but also to go to the Student Prince restaurant. Since I drive a large Pick Up truck and could not fit into the garage the staff went out of there way to find me a spot. the rooms were nice and no overnight noise -- except a little train horn at 6am in the distance... but was not a problem. Our even numbered room overlooked the river and RT91. We had breakfast in the restaurant off the lobby and was good.

We were in town for the holiday, the hotel didn't seen busy at all most likely because it is a business area. The woman at the front desk was extremely nice and made conversation. We had a very easy check in process which is always appreciated. Parking was added to the room and easy in and out access with room key. Room was very clean and comfortable. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

This Marriott is close to EVERYTHING, The beds are fantastic. The WiFi is passable. I cannot believe they charge $18 per day to park, after charging so much for the room. The hotel is nice, but could use some refreshing in the carpeting and other cosmetic areas, to be charging premium prices.

Stayed one night in Room 1006 which was very quiet and well appointed. Lobby is pretty and staff was very helpful in microwaving a dish I brought for dinner. The restaurant was very pricey for wine and coffee, and the few staff looked like they were running around to manage the crowd. Fitness club was decent with variety of equipment and room to handle the morning work-out guests.

Upon checking in we were given our room keys right away. Parking the car is a little treacherous with the garage's spiral turns, but parking was ample. Our room was right outside elevators, much to our dismay. We asked for a few hypo-allergenic pillows since I am allergic to feathers. We called soon after we checked in. Springfield isn't really a place that you'll ever want to be unless you really have to be there, I had to be there so at least the Marriott was super convenient for where I was visiting in the Tower Square offices. Nothing was particularly wrong with the place but the decor did look like it needed a good spruce up. I ate breakfast in Currents - average quality food / very friendly service staff ... that last bit is a big plus.

I've used this property a number of times for both business and pleasure, and it is consistently good quality for the money, it will neither knock your socks off nor disappoint, it is just what I expect for my needs, and one of only two places in Springfield where I choose to stay.

Other than the garbage and murder scene under my bed, the staff was friendly and the pool & fitness center were great. Chose to spend as much time as possible out of my room to avoid being creeped out. Close to freeway & restaurants. Advice is to check your room before getting too comfy. -_- Gave a poor rating only because I know Marriott has higher standards then to let their guests sleep on a mattress like this. YUCK!
