One of our consultants is staying here - she's 5'6" and her knees are 4 inches from the wall when sitting on the toilet. Have to close the door to get to the sink. Classy! I'm surprised they didn't try to fit the bed in there, too!

I recently returned from a stay at Hotel Indigo in Boston. In trying to determine where to stay, I read several reviews. While Hotel Indigo had favorable scores the comments were a little off-putting and I had a difficult time deciding. Luckily, I chose Hotel Indigo. The room was quite comfortable and I loved the Aveda products. Every staff person that I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure my needs were met and encouraging me to take a second chocolate chip cookie!... Read more

My company puts us here every time we are in Boston. This time has been no better than any other. The last time I was here, I had ants in my room and had to be moved. This time, upon check in, there is was shampoo in the room and some creepy piece of dirty plastic in the corner of the shower. I let that go and get through my night. Upon returning to the room today, after a crappy day of work, I find that my dirty washcloths have been removed from the room but no clean washcloths have been provid... Read more

Stayed at the Indigo a few times when in the the area on business. Not my first choice, but my colleague likes it due to the proximity to our client. I find the rooms to be a bit too small and furnished a bit on the frugal side. The bathrooms are too small too, with little room to "sit", and minimal shelf space above the sink to place your travel items. On my most recent visit the bathroom could have been cleaned better. The best part about staying here is the "Bokx" restaurant. The food and bar... Read more

This is a relatively pleasant place to stay. However, you may have thought you had completed paying for your stay, only to discover that you will be charged $10 a day for parking. Charging for parking at a motel! Since there are no other places nearby to park, that fee should be publicized as part of the cost of staying there. Moreover, even though the garage is right near the hotel, you still have to go out into the rain/sleet/hail/snow in order to get to your car - they did not think to offer ... Read more

We stayed at Hotel Indigo for a wedding in the area. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, but if it not for the wedding group discount we would have stayed elsewhere. The manager, Carlos, was very helpful and fixed a couple of things for us that the reservation person had messed up. The floors are laminate hard wood, making the room seem cleaner from dirty carpet and the rooms were a good size. The hotel is right off the highway and not much around to walk to except for the "T"... Read more

Indigo focuses on eye candy instead of guest comfort. Our room was on the top floor. Their was a sleeper sofa in the room, so it was larger than standard. The king size bed was hard and not comfortable for us as side sleepers. No carpet on the floor, so in winter floors are hard and cold. Bathroom teeny. Toilet was so low to the ground it looked like it was put in by toddlers. There is only a free-standing sink and no counter on which to place a makeup kit or toiletries. Ordered room s... Read more

If you are think you are booking a room at a relatively new property think again. This property has quite some age to it. While there have been renovations since the hotel lost its previous identity (I believe a Holiday Inn) the money was spent in vain. Whoever did the interior design should go back to design school quickly. Our room was not only small but appointed terribly. There is no charm, no warm feeling when you are in the room. Another huge negative is the inability to lower the te... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for three days/nights While it was mostly clean, I find the room to be too small, too narrow, too tight. For the rate one pays for this, I expected a lot more. The check-in was ok and the staff was friendly enough. I did not feel "free ." there is an uptight, not very welcoming atmostphere though everyone was nice. The restaurant downstairs is pricey, but the food is lovely. They have the best coffee ever. There are wooden floors instead of carpets; I don't recall seei... Read more
