The customer service is terrible, the owner is always in a bad mood. The room was very very old and dirty... the bathroom is in a poor condition and it needs to be rebuild urgently. Everything is old. I will not stay again...

The value for the money was great. We had a room on the first floor. They have 2 pools which were very clean. The room is obviously older, slightly dated, but well kept and clean. My suggestion to management would be to get rid of big entertainment center and desk and replace it with dresser That would give guest more space in room. Also add a microwave to room. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Having said that, we definitely will stay here again.

This is the only motel I have stayed in on The Cape in several years so I don't have anything locally to compare it with. That being said, I did have two issues. The first was the bed situation.... when I request a king size bed three weeks in advance of my visit, I expect it when I arrive. But, when I arrived here I was told they didn't have any. In fact, all they had were two doubles! The second issue was the tub wouldn't drain after a shower. It took the repairman 40 minutes to fix the drai... Read more

I always stay at this place when visiting Dennis. The stuff is very helpful and friendly, kids have great time there. the price is right too. the cross-cape bike path and bike shop about a mile away, so is the beach. They have two pools on site - indoor and outdoor plus jacuzzi. Cottages is an interesting alternative to individual room if you come with bigger family

I have happily stayed at Colonial Village many times over the years but won' t be returning!! I booked their 2 bedroom suite last September and was very disappointed- both with the rooms and management. The second bedroom had no A/C, drapes falling off filthy, difficult to open windows and seemed to be a storage room for extra furniture. After speaking with the office and sending an unanswered email after returning home, I won't recommend- or return!!

Couple, around 30 years old stayed for 2 nights: + great value for low price + 2 pools under roof, 1 outside + 5 minutes walk to the beach + old fashioned but clean and partially renovated + stable Wifi - room was horribly stuffy

I was visiting friends on the cape (West Harwich) and needed a place to stay with my two kids (11 and 14). This motel had vacancy and was reasonably priced (mid-week stay). It was very clean, comfy beds and two pools. We didn't use the pools and really just slept at the motel. It is very dated, felt like I was walking into my grandmother's house in the 70s - pink bathroom and all! I would stay here again as it was close to restaurants and ice cream shops, and we had no problems with the hotel.

Pros: the rooms were attended to daily. Clean except for the shower curtain. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and attended to regularly. When we asked for extra pillows, our request was fulfilled within a reasonable time period. Cons: the shower curtain was ripped and had some mold spots on the bottom. There are no showerheads, so the water was hard. Showering was not a pleasant experience. We stayed with the room with a kitchenette, the room was really small. The four of us were pr... Read more

It's a motel, for sure, but it may have been the cleanest motel we've ever stayed at. The bathroom had the whitest grout I've ever seen. From the window sills to the shelf above the closet pole to the bathroom floors, everything was extremely clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we all slept quite well. We used the indoor pool and hot tub, and again, super clean, including the concrete deck and chairs. I was very impressed. The bathroom is very dated and small, and the one dow... Read more
