Creating drama on a plate is achieved through the perfect combination of flavours, colours, tastes, aromas and textures. Excellent ingredients are the starting point. The chefs delight in procuring original ingredients imported from the country of origin. As a complementary practice, the Taj chefs like to work with local farmers to obtain the local, organic products they need.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared at The Cafe, which overlooks Newbury Street through a wall of windows. This eatery prepares New England favorites, while blending Italian and French influences. The Lounge provides spirits and silver-and-china tea service, featuring teas custom-blended for Taj Boston. Wood paneling, garden views, a fireplace and live piano music enhance The Bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Taj. They were welcoming to our dog and made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. Service and location are unbeatable. I highly recommend the Taj Boston. If you have a pet, look no further. And no pet fee.

This property is beautiful and is centrally located in Boston where you can walk to just about everywhere. It feels like our home away from home. Always courteous staff and clean facilities. It is a pet friendly hotel and our four legged child has stayed with us many times here and always welcomed with open arms.

Very good service and accommodations. Nicely decorated. Food and room service is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and business associates. Nice location in Boston and near shopping and restaurants.

While I loved the staff and the hotels location the bedding was subpar. Allow me to explain. First and foremost the staff because of them I would stay at this hotel again and again. They all go way out of their way to make sure you and your family has a great stay. Numerous times they stopped my little girl and treated her like a princess and seeing the smile on her face made it worth the price of admission. My only real complaint is the bedding. The mattress themself is hars and full of springs... Read more

IF you have the means($), I highly recommend this hotel, very close to the freedoms trail, right across from the park, We arrived early and they let us check in at 10am and gave us an upgraded room. Restaurants a bit pricy but good.

We were upgraded to a suite which gave us a fantastic first impression but the real usp of this hotel is the high standard of staff training: everybody we met gave us the impression that they really wanted us to have a fabulous stay. The hotel is comfortable and elegant, not glitzy or brash. Everything is top quality although a few things seem slightly old fashioned such as showers over the bath but I would definitely choose to stay here again if in Boston as it's such an easy and pleasant esta... I have stayed here several times and love the hotel, the rooms and the location this time I was disappointed - first we waited for housekeeping to confirm the room was clean then we were given a room with 2 doubles instead of a king. then we were transferred to a room with a king and the heat was set at 85. when trying to reset the heat the thermostat did not work and I had to turn it off

My experience with the TAJ Boston was excellent. We had the fireplace butler service which was nice to be in front of a fire and sipping some wine. We also tried the S'mores and they were very good. All the individuals at the hotel were very pleasant and answered all my questions I had during my stay. The location of the hotel was another deciding factor as we were there on getaway weekend and were there to see a play at the Boston Opera House. Everything was in walking distance and it was gre...
