Flagship hotel is your typical beach hotel, nothing fancy and needs updating. I searched online for discounts and found an amazing price that I couldn't pass up. The property sits right on the boardwalk at 26th street, has easy access to the beach and and is only a 2.25 mile walk to the inlet. Our room had a balcony and a partial ocean view. There is a big courtyard that has picnic tables, grills, corn hole and a pirate ship for kids to play on. Parallel to the boardwalk is a sitting area with... Read more

Just after Labor Day my wife and I spent 3 nights at the Flagship Oceanfront, as we typically do at the end of the summer. I made reservations early so we could stay in one of the few ocean front rooms. I don‚??t believe it was a big secret that the Flagship was somewhat OK with the many customers that smoke, apparently that condition has changed. I am not sure if the ‚??smoke free‚?? boardwalk non-sense has something to do with that, but apparently the situation has changed and caught people of... Read more

Love the ocean view from any room. Very friendly front desk and room service. The lobby and rooms were clean. We enjoyed our evenings in the pool and hot tub. There was also coffee and fresh fruit available in the lobby all day. We have been coming to the Oceanic for 6 years

My husband and I booked an Oceanfront room the week after Labor Day. When we arrived we received our key and was asked if we need help with our stuff going up the stairs. I thought she meant the stairs on the side where we parked. Boy was I surprised when we go to the second floor and had to walk up steps go down the hall walk down steps to the end where our room was. My husband is unable to carry heavy objects which meant I had to do it. Not happy with that. Then we get the the room and fin... Read more

The stay was very nice for our 5 days in Sept., The only suggestion I have is the hotel room needs at least one more Lamp of some sort in the corner near table. The location was perfect the maid service was very good. Next year we plan to get a ocean front room if we can.

Our room leaked water dripping on my kids heads, screaming at 2am from everywhere, the smell was horrible then our room also smelled like smoke. It's a run down dive of a hotel, unless you are a college kid, don't go here with your family!

We go every year and we love the location and what the hotel has to offer. Always a good time. However every year we have a problem with the room service. When we go its for a week and it never fails that atleast 2 days out of our stay if not more we have to call the front desk and ask for room service to come. sometimes we have to call 2-3 times before the come. besides that we have always enjoyed it there.

Hotel I felt was a bargain at 99 a night, I booked direct thru them and it paid off I had a second floor room, first in line to the boardwalk. Could it use updating yes, you could see where they had did some ceiling painting in the room, and it looked as if someone fell into the drywall on the bathroom wall and made a nice little indent. The fridge worked good, the heat was on when we first arrived, after we got back from running around went to the desk, and they sent maintenance to fix the pr... Read more

The place was nice. Good location. Nice pools, cool playground for kids. Rooms were kind of run down / outdated / furniture is stained. The kitchennete unit was nice. We enjoyed having a separate bedroom. The pullout mattress was so broken, that they recommended sleeping on the floor, but then decided to put a regular mattress on top of the pull out, which helped, but certainly didn't fix the situation. I wouldn't give the manager a high score for service, but the maintenance man was very nice.

I have been staying there for years nice inexpensive place to stay. staff are friendly. this year I was put on 2nd floor which was not happy at all I book rooms all the time in February always got 1st floor this year was on 2nd I have bad knees their reason is use elevators I was not happy. they had open rooms on first floor. when a person books 2 rooms in February you would think they would get what they ask for when booking.
