This is a decent airport hotel, and was pleased to see new carpeting in the room and what appeared to be some updates after reading other reviews. There was a large counter in the bathroom which was nice, but the tub and tile were very worn and definitely in need of updating. While there are two restaurants on site, this is one of the Marriott locations that does not have regular room service. They use this awful 'fresh' menu some idiot came up with. We stayed here again before an early Sunday flight and loved it! Had a delish crabcake dinner at the lobby bar and the checkin staff was friendly and efficient. The king room was as expected. Highly recommend.

Hotel was in a good location, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Getting food seemed to be the biggest issue. Champions restaurant was very understaffed, waited 30 min to get served, finally went to the bar and was served immediately. Very short staffed on the floor. Ms. Karlesha Smith was so helpful to me. I needed a pair of scissors to use in my room. However, I needed them for four days. She found a pair and was happy to let me use them. I needed them to change a bandage daily so this was very important to me. Her kindness and professionalism was outstanding. She is the type of person that would make me return to this property. I had done the booking for our group so we had 17 rooms. We will be back and she would be one of the reasons.

Stayed here the Friday night prior to the Women's March in Washington. Our room faced the front of the property where many buses we parked. The hotel was full but we did not hear a peep out of other guests or from the outdoors! We did not hear anyone in the hallway or a single door slam. It was amazingly quiet!! This hotel does need an all-over update, especially the bathrooms, as has been mentioned. The bathroom counters are low, the lighting is inadequate, there is no make-up mirror and the hair dryer is anemic. The room itself was spacious but again, it needs perking up. It was,however, clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms where clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, plus there is a shuttle to and from the airport. But there were some little things that I found strange. There were no room safes. You have to rent one behind the desk. I guess that would make them more secure and it is still free. I traveled last week for work and stayed at this Marriott. The rooms were clean where it had a Champs Sports Bar on site as well as Starbucks. I would have rated this hotel better except the following areas need addressed: The bathrooms definetly need updated The free shuttle service from the airport did not run as planned where I had to take an Uber. The BWI Airport Marriott has severely outdated hotel rooms! The bathrooms in the rooms are sickeningly claustrophobic and the shower curtains need to be cleaned with germicidal bleach and/or replaced! The carpets in the rooms need to be shampooed, treated for dust and pet dander and/or replaced and all of the beds need to be either flipped over or have a memory foam mattress pad placed on top for true comfort. We were here for a brief overnight stay for an early morning flight. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The bar was unique as a plug in area for laptops and lunch. Had a light dinner and a couple of drinks. Clean but average. Would return again.
