Visited Towson University and stayed at this hotel which was about 20 min away. From the outside the hotel looked very nice and the scenery nearby was great. The room was ok nothing special and the bathroom was small and a bit outdated. There was a free breakfast which wasn't that impressive. It had some basic items only. Also not enough seating but could stand next to a ledge. Cost was avg. all in all just ok

I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed in the main hotel in the conference center. I had a lovely, spacious room with a queen bed. My room had a balcony with a view of the octagon building. It was very hot and humid during my stay, and the Central A/C in the room worked marvelously and it was also very quiet. The bathroom was a bit on the older side, in terms of the floor tile and tub, but super clean. Very comfy bed. I slept great. I loved the grounds. Such a gorgeous area. Mt Washington village wa... The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast needs help, very sparse selection and they cleaned it up 15 mins. early so don't be late. Free parking which is a rarity in Baltimore. The grounds were very nice to walk around.

Excellent price for accommodations within a 15 minute drive to Inner Harbor. We stayed here for a one night getaway. The conference center includes the historical octagon building. This is a former all girls dormitory. Our room included a table and kitchenette. All in all a great place to stay.

We have stayed at a variety of hotels in the Baltimore area as our daughter went to college there. We booked this hotel one year in advance for the college graduation in May. The good news is parking is included and nearby to hotel, light breakfast is also included. The room we had was spacious but lacked a queen size bed. This was a full sized bed and tight for sleeping for two. One chair in the entire room. One bar of soap. The bathroom was large and looked handicap friendly but the sho... Read more

Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Hotel does not have a bar/restaurant but the fantastic Mt Washington Tavern is at the bottom of the hill. A short walk or very quick two minute drive. Light rail is also a short walk or two minute drive and was $3.40 round trip to the inner harbor. The Nickel tavern is a block away from the Mt Washington Tavern and is also top notch. Rooms at the hotel were adequate. Queen bed was more like a double bed but it worked fine. The gym w... Stayed here for my husband's birthday weekend. Hotel was very clean. Starbucks coffee in the room. Free parking. Friendly staff. Very secure. The front desk has to buzz you in. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful and hospitable from start to finish. My stay here was extremely pleasant and relaxing from the front desk staff all the way through to each night's sleep. The beds were comfortable and the rooms perfect for my visit. This place has amazing character and the Christmas tree in the lobby was awesome! I would definitely recommend to friends and will be staying there again on my next trip to Baltimore very soon.

Great way to reach the summit if you can't drive up (ie afraid of heights). Plan ahead the weather can be dreadful. For more information see my post on Mt. Washington road trip. Don't miss the visitor center at base of railroad.

We stayed in the Octagon building, which could have been really cool. We pulled up to the building after checking in only to find that the building was locked. After walking down the hill to the lobby, we were told that we could only access the Octagon through a hallway from the main building and then an elevator or stairs to the rooms. Isn't that something you should probably tell people when they're checking in??? When we got to the room, it was evident that they had not renovated in quite so... Read more
