Property looked to be somewhat renovated or was being renovated- wasn't sure. The property is right at the airport entrance which was convenient. Relatively quiet. Not very convenient to restaurants. Closest place was about 7-8 miles away. The room was nice, clean. Ample pillows and clean bed linens. The television signal kept going on and off. I didn't report it because it wasn't that important to me. I got in late and had to leave early, so I just turned it off and went to sleep. Ther... Again, I turned it off and used a different one. The bathroom was clean and had ample linens. The water pressure in the shower and at the sink was a little more than a trickle. Taking a shower was an experience. In addition to the reduced pressure, the adjustable shower head was broken. Left early in the morning before breakfast opened, but there was one offered. I did not check in to this hotel, but still had a great experience. I was on the way home when the airport (SHV) was under an evacuation order due to a suspicious package they found. I was turned away at the airport entrance and had no place to go. I drove across the street and pulled into the Hampton parking lot. When I went inside, I explained my predicament to the desk clerk, and asked if I could camp out in her lobby until they resolved the problem. She welcomed me and another traveler ... I did not check in to this hotel, but still had a great experience. I was on the way home when the airport (SHV) was under an evacuation order due to a suspicious package they found. We asked if we could get internet access while we waited and she happily gave us the code. She had a TV behind the desk and gave us updates from the local news reports. I flew into Shreveport to visit family and was happy to learn that there was a Hampton Inn so close to the airport. My daughter was easily able to pick me up and drop me off and it made a great meeting place for the family.

Staff most pleasant, helpful and accommodating. We arrived at 2pm and left for airport at 5:20 am. All hotels services were available to us including a hot breakfast. Great bed and pillows (even a small soft one). Property is inviting, clean and convenient to excellent Cajun restaurant and Avis both located just across the street.

Flew out of SHV airport and stayed here the night before and night of return. The airport shuttle was fast and friendly. Staff was great, I got upgraded to a suite, nice surprise. Great place to stay, very convenient if you are flying

Arrived after midnight the attendant was very prompt in taking care of guests made sure I was signed up for the awards program. No complaints I thought it was a very nice stay. Room was clean although the doors slam very hard that would be my only ding.

Staff was vey nice and helpful. Lots of small issues with room (e.g., tiny closet, less than great video checkout instructions) but it was clean and comfortable - more than adequate to meet basic needs. Breakfast was better than typical of hotels that do comp breakfasts.

Great place to stay. We had nice size room with 2 queen size beds that were clean and very comfortable. Great value for our money. Wi Fi and complementary to go bag breakfast for us at 5 AM in the morning.

I could not shower me or my son because there was hair in the tub and something that looked like feces on the shower curtain. It felt like the other guest was in my room when they were outside or in the room next to me.
