My husband and I stayed here for two nights before a cruise. We had never been to New Orleans before. The location was great. We could walk to Bourbon, Royal and Canal Streets. It is also very close to Harrah's Casino. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a King room with outside window. It was a standard size hotel room (not small). The staff was polite and friendly. They happily held our luggage before and after we checked out so we could do some extra site seeing. No wor... Read more

This a great location for those wanting to enjoy the French Quarter. Great price. Friendly staff. It has the old Louisiana charm. Comfy beds. Clean. They will assist you with setting up tours. The Ruby Slipper restaurant is a wonderful bonus.

The Hotel is nice and close to everything. We walked to Bourbon Street and Jackson Square. The rooms are small but big enough to move around. We were pleased with the price. We went with another couple and they were by the elevators so I would recommend suggesting not to be close to the elevator. You could hear people closing their doors but for one night I would do stay there again and just remember you are staying in New Orleans.

We planned a trip to the French Quarter Jan 14-18th and decided to try the Pelham. This was based on price but primarily because the Pelham is ideally located. In fact, it's just about perfect. It's walking distance to everything French Qtr and Mississippi River but far enough to afford a quiet retreat. And, of course it's connected to the Ruby Slipper, so that was a plus for about the best breakfast anywhere in Nawlins (you have to try the Chris-approved signature Eggs Cochon with a side of gri... This is a great hotel close to the convention centre and restaurants and the fun of Bourbon Street while being a quiet place to stay and relax. Nesha at the front desk was a great help through our stay. I would love to stay again on our next visit.

The hotel is situated just a few miles from many restaurants and the French Quarter, which makes it an excellent location. There is also ample street parking space available if you're patient. The rooms were clean and self sufficient with all necessary amenities. We stayed in an interior room which could get stuffy due to its small size and there was some noise during the night from hotel guests (room was not soundproof).

Better than expected, great location, lovely staff, our room was had ridiculously high ceilings and a bed I had to struggle to climb up onto (I am only 5' 4) but we absolutely loved it! We also loved the location as it was near to everything we wanted to see and do. We were boarding a cruise ship after our 3 night stay and it couldn't have been more convenient. Also on our first we walked to Harrahs casino for their buffet lunch, which was brilliant and the perfect way to start our t... Read more

Good location close to Canal street/river. Close to a decent breakfast place, "Ruby Slippers" around the corner. Paid 179 usd for a room w/2x queen beds. Calm area and no noise at night time. Bad ventilation and large windows that did not open. Bathroom has seen better days but all in all not the worst I have experienced. Funny smell all over the hotel, all from lobby (most likely the lobby one is from some exotic form of perfume...) to opening the room door. Interesting characters in... Read more

I was there for two nights last December, although the place has a great location smell really weird specially our room and the people working there is not friendly at all. I normally don't loose my time writing negative opinions but these place was the worse point during a great roadtrip through Texas and Louisiana.

Was at a conference at the Sheraton and decided to stay here instead. Great decision and a lower rate too. The room had high ceilings with nice decor. The bathroom could use a little work, as the counter space was limited. And the Ruby Slipper cafe downstairs is a must, especially at breakfast.
