We love to stay at Le Meridien because it's a great place in a great location. Very convenient to get to the French Quarter and just across from Harrah's Casino. The room was very clean and the housekeeping crew was very helpful. The valet, bell, and desk staffs were all very professional and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great Location. We were on a quick getaway to a place we have not been. We walked to most places. Kevin and Lawrence were very helpful and friendly and gave us some good tips on places to go and how to get there. Truly hospitable.

Great location. Easy walk to all that we needed as a tourist family with teens / young adults - French quarter, street cars / trams, shops, cafes/restaurants, etc. The in-room autovend minibar was a bit weird and off-putting. Fortunately the teens read the auto-charge warning signs before the picked up anything! Similarly, the ‚??refridgerator‚?? in the cabinet which doesn‚??t go down to typical refidgerator temperatures is completely useless and a waste of space. We made do by not buying anythi... Read more

I stayed at the ale Meridian New a Orleans during my visit for the College Football Play Off game between Alabama and Clemson. The hotel was very attractive and decorated with a modern flair as are most Le Meridian‚??s. The lobby was festive and inviting. As far as the service there is a lot to be desired. I called the hotel weeks in advance to see if I could add one night and they were unable to accommodate my request. As such I booked another hotel fir my first night in town. Hoping to make t... Ideally located for a walk to the French Quarter, the casino area across the street, the riverfront, the business district, the warehouse district etc. The hotel itself is luxurious in a modern style, but it has room for improvement. The strangest thing was that the restaurant was closed for dinner both nights we stayed (although room service was available). They also could use some sort of breakfast option which is between paper cups of coffee in the lobby and a (pricey) sit-down in the rest... Read more

I stayed in this hotel several years ago, when it used to be W, on business. This time we stayed with my daughter on 3 night fun trip. Yes, it is not perfect hotel, but still puzzled by mostly negative reviews. The things we didn't like: slow elevators, and one wasn't even in working order; smaller rooms with 2 queen beds, with smaller bathrooms, not that great for 2 people; very expensive breakfast in their restaurant, and not that good either. Most of the other stuff worked well for us: lo... Read more

12th floor ADA room. It had a doorbell (unlike a regular room) which was infintely annoying sounding when our friends rang it (sounded like fire alarm). No pranksters, thank goodness. The room itself appeared clean on check in. Found that the toilet hadn't been flushed when the maid last cleaned - ew. Disinfected it myself. We had a 4 night stay. On morning 1, we had the do not disturb sign up. On morning 2, the sign fell off in the interior of our room hallway (not visible from outside hall)... Read more

My recent 3 night stay at the Le Meridien was....fine. Nothing spectacular. We choose this hotel because it was close to the events we were attending for a wedding. We were able to immediately check in when our flight landed at 8 am and the room was decently sized. I was slightly disappointed, as my day of check in was on my birthday and we did not receive any special treat or recognition. I am also a SPG Gold Member and no room upgrade or special rewards were even mentioned at check in. The be... Read more

We stayed at the La Meridian Hotel on our recent trip to New Orleans. The hotel is beautiful and the staff helpfull and friendly. My only complaint about this place is the parking. All I can say is BRACE YOURSELF they charge $50 dollars plus tax to park. There is public parking for $20 a night close by but it has no securiry. I guess what got me was we pulled in to check in and I was told its valet only $50 dollars. I said we just need to check in and then we would decide. The valet said you ca... Read more

We spent two nights at Le Meridian and enjoyed our stay. The odd: hands down the smallest hotel bathroom I have ever seen, although it was well lit and well appointed. Strange bedding that bunched up. Vouchers for free morning coffee at the bar, but I never saw the bar staffed in the morning. The good: beautiful views from our 22nd floor room. Excellent service from the engineering staff, who fixed a rattly AC unit within minutes of our call. Beautiful thick towels. Vouchers for free ad... Read more
