My folio included a $38 room service charge from someone else's room - this took me two calls and about 30 minutes to resolve once i was back home. Besides that, yes, I really enjoyed this hotel. I found it just far enough from the convention center (where my meeting was) and just far enough from Bourbon Street chaos that the hotel was a little island in a sea of work / lewd excess. Of course, i wanted to take part in both so the hotel's closeness to both was also a big bonus. My king room had a... Read more

While the property is not "bad," there are so many wonderful options in New Orleans it is hard to give Le Meridien anything but average marks. The valet set up is slow. When I arrived the entrance was blocked by an airport shuttle van letting off passengers, forcing me to sit half in and half out of an intersection waiting for the van to move. Why it didn't pull into the drop off area is beyond me, but I noticed that taxis remaining on the street was the norm not the exception. Getting the ca... Read more

I was given a room on the fifth floor and my view was a tower and HVAC equipment. You need to get at least to the seventh floor to avoid this view. At least where my room was located. It may be worse/better from other view angles. The architecture created multiple room configurations. In my room, I almost had to open the door, step into the bathroom off to the side and close the door behind me to continue into the room. Very weird. Bedding was annoying as well. The bottom sheet and mattr... Read more

We have been to New Orleans on multiple occasions, but this was our first stay at Le Meridian. It will definitely be our last. The hotel has absolutely no attention to detail. There is no execution of the "little things" that normally add up to a good stay. Some examples - they advertised a Happy Hour for the SPG guests (frequent guest club). We showed up for the event, and guess what? No one knew anything about it. We weren't surprised. The concierge did "buy" us a drink, but how difficult is... Read more

The execution at this hotel is lacking. It took a long time to check in and there were only 3 people ahead of me. There was a blood spot on my pillowcase and dirty pillow. I ordered room service the first night and was told when it arrived that they ran out of the glass of wine I ordered so I asked for another - it took 40 minutes for it to arrive, so by that time I was done with dinner. The second night I tried to eat in the restaurant - they were only serving burgers so I went to the bar. I sa... Read more

The hotel has 4 room doors placed in the corner of each floor which makes entry odd. However, the rooms were clean and neat. Hotel staff were reasonable responsive to questions and needs. Overall, the hotel experience was OK, but I expected more.

Updated business hotel near (but not in) the French Quarter. Room was comfortable, with a large shower and a big-screen TV. My only gripe was the lack of a nearby convenience, grocery, or drugstore. Front desk help was pleasant and efficient.

This hotel is close to the convention center which is helpful for meetings there. Otherwise I cannot recommend it. The rooms were very noisy, I could hear each person exiting the elevator and everything the visitors said, in the room next door.. The room smelled of old smoke and there were bugs in the bathroom each morning. My roommate experienced a theft while there, making it a rather unfortunate stay.

I left 4 cards hidden in the bottom of my suitcase. (I donā??t like using the safe because I hear they always have master codes to get into them.) I left my room at noon. By 4pm all 4 of the credit card companies were calling me about fraudulent charges. I came back to my room. All the cards remained in my possession in the suitcase. I presume the numbers were stolen. Watch your belongings. Or better yet, donā??t stay here at all.

Stayed several nights at the hotel. We had a corner suite which was nice in size. The room was a little dated but the bed was comfortable. We had issues with the tv and WiFi being very intermittent. The staff at the bar were nice and drinks good . Not a bad place just not as good as we expected
