When I tell you I absolutely love this hotel! Modern luxury at its finest! I was very empresses with the entrance how the doors are motion censored to open automatically. Especially after a night of drinking and partying! Lol The check in process was super quick and easy. The room was very spacious and equipped with a mini bar and snack bar. The restroom was nice and the bed was so comfortable it felt amazing. I was on floor 21 and I had a view or the river which was amazing. Harrah's casino is ... Read more

We stayed here about a year and a half ago and had a good time this time was so so. The minute we pulled in valet was so disorganized. We sat in the street for about 10 minutes greeted by a manger that was so dry that he didn't have any personality. I asked for Tim, Nick, and asked for the Hispanic manager (forgot his name) because they made my trip so wonderful the last time. I was sad to hear that they no longer worked there. The hotel needs to get these 3 guys back asap. Checked in took a g... Read more

For starters their gym is probably the best hotel gym in which I've ever stayed. I can't say enough good things about it. The bed was extremely comfortable, kudos for that. The TV was huge and made for a relaxing morning when waking up to watch the news. I forgot my shaving cream and the front desk thankfully had a travel size to offer me, I thought this was very generous and great customer service. My chief complaint was the thing walls. I could hear everything that was going on in the conne... Read more

I want to start off by saying that this hotel is not a 4 star at all. My husband and I arrived on Friday, November 24th and when we got to hotel to check in they put us in a room with double beds. We had been promised a king size bed and thatâ??s what we had booked months in advance and paid for prior to our trip. The customer service there was horrible. They didnâ??t even try to accommodate us. All they said was it was completely booked and they couldnâ??t do anything about it. Another bad thin... Read more

I pride myself in not being a difficult patron and try to accommodate certain mistakes that can be overlooked. However, there were too many glaring mistakes I could not get over. First- the good points- the lobby and restaurant are beautiful- modern. The location is great, close to Lafayette Park and the French Quarters. The bad- we left behind a tip of $20 to housekeeping - who appeared grateful but the room wasnâ??t made!! The next day we left a tip for Housekeeping to request water, but the... Read more

Stayed for one night at this hotel at the edge of the French quarter but not the closest to it. Not too large as a hotel, which is nice but ageing and boring decor in the common parts. Massive and impressive double front doors. My bed was comfortable. Small windows, no bathtub, not an especially large room but clean. Really noisy as there was one of these doors into next doors room and also the layout of the floor is such that the door of the room is very near 2 others. For a hotel belonging ... Read more

i love this hotel check in was a breeze the rooms are nice and had a 50 inch flat screen the hotel is with in walking distance of the french quarter nice area to be in at mardi gras you have a casino right next door at harrah's love the fact that if your a guest to go to the guest floors you have to insert your card in the elevator and press a code to prevent the occasionally drunk person that walks in the hotel cant access the floor i would definitely stay here again

We arrived after a very early morning flight. We were surprised to find our rooms were ready. We had an executive suite on the 14th floor. This was slightly smaller then the suite we had stayed in on our previous visit, but was certainly large enough to meet our needs. Our friends were in a standard room on the 9th floor. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had notified the hotel in advance that we would be celebrating our anniversary during our visit and the hotels Concierge Danny Alford wo... Read more

Went on a family vacation with wife and two small children. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Lawrence, who helped us take our baggage to our room. He also served as our mini tour guide in helping us find places to go and how to get around.Every time he saw us he made sure to go out of his way and greet us. He always asked how our day and our stay was. Lawrence your the man! Even on his days off he left us in good hands ... Read more

I liked the Le Meridien. The reviews I read made it seem like a crappy hotel but itâ??s stylish and the SPG room I had was a good size. The room configuration at the entrance is weird with the bathroom door and entrance door too close where you had to time the openings so the doors would not hit each other. The bed was comfy and the check in was seamless. The French Quarter is a handful of blocks away and you have to cross Canal, but itâ??s not a big deal and if you want peace and quiet, itâ...
