Wow - what happened with Quality Inn? We thought we can rely on the brand? We stayed in room 423 on Nov. 18, 17 for one night. The good things: - rooms were recently renovated - AC worked - breakfast was already served at 6 am also it officially opens at 7 pm on weekends The bad things: - hallways and room smelled (cigarettes, drugs??) - inspection certificate is missing in elevator - zero toilet paper and no tissues in room - hair on the ground in the bathroom - bathroom door didn‚??t shut -... Hotel personnel excellent. ONLY good thing about this place. Under going renovation but needs to fall into a sink hole That would b an improvement. Want weed? Just breath. Need a shower ? Don't attempt it here. Water barely trickles out My credit card company declined the charge. Why? After calling them they informed me that most credit charges there are from stolen cards. Still want to vacation here? Bring cleaning supplies along w lots of disinfectant Try a war torn country bombed ou... Read more

Well for starters, the property looks as if it use to be to be a Baymont Inn & Suites as some of the older hotel logos are showing underneath the Stay Express Inn & Suites stickers. I booked this hotel because it was a reasonable rate (although non-refundable). Upon arrival when I entered into the lobby of the hotel, it had a weird smell in which I discarded thinking it was possibly coming from outside. I was first given assigned the room 218 and once I entered in I smelled old mildew and mold.... Read more

Not a bad place, clean and comfortable, though a bit dated. Had to ask for a few basic items when we arrived, but the staff was friendly and helpful. Never did get hot water in the shower, and I understand that's been a common complaint for a long time now. Apparently, they don't plan to do anything about it. They provide breakfast, but it's limited to cereal and toast with coffee. Altogether, it was not too unpleasant.

I booked this hotel since I got a good deal on it, and it was close to the city too. The room was decent, and the bathroom could have been better. Breakfast is complimentary, with limited options. Overall, this place is alright only for a short stay.

We stayed here to enjoy Nola after our cruise for two night. One night in this horrible hotel was enough and we left. Walking in to the hotel, you immediately smell a weird funky odor. The room was a double queen bed. Room smelled like cigarette smoke and stale mildew. The bed my husband and i slept in was a nightmare. The bed was cratered in the middle, so when we laid down, we rolled like marbles to the center of the bed. After our evening in thr french qtr, we came back to the hotel an... Read more

My nieces and I stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites for two nights. When we arrived to our room, the key card didn't work. We had to have the key card re-activated in order to enter our room. Upon entering the room, we noticed a strong bleach smell. However, looking at the restroom, it didn't appear anyone had cleaned it. The restroom floors had not be swept or mopped. The drapes were falling down. The beds were made neatly. Guest Services didn't come to replenish towels and tidy the room while... Read more
