In town for construction, booked the room for three nights, paid in advance. Upon arrival, unloaded suitcases and went out to get something to eat. Upon return, found our luggage and room crawling with roaches. Let the owner, Shawnee Walton, know we were leaving but she refused to refund our money. We did not stay in the room a single night. Absolutely terrible experience! Horrible management!!!

Under new management. Stayed here for RAGBRAI. No towels in Room, no soap, toilet was not clean, walls not all painted. But, good shower, the AC worked well. After a 70 mile ride - still better than a hot damp tent on the ground. Hopefully they will continue to do well. I wish them all the best. I will say that their coffee was the best of the 4 hotels I stayed in that week. Keep it strong!

Just moved to Iowa my house wasn't ready yet so I brought my family to stay here the owner was so helpful and made our stay very enjoyable the room was clean and comfortable I highly recommend if your in the area and need a place to stay this is a good clean place

My family faced a hardship which left us with no place to stay, we decided to try here at the motel and I was so scared and worried about it. We have been here almost a month and are getting on our feet and I can't begin to describe how hard leaving will be. The owner of this motel is amazing and so is her staff. Clean, comfortable and decent price. New owners recently. I stayed for 6 nights, room is clean, bed is comfortable, shower has amazing water pressure, staff is very friendly and will help with anything. Don't hesitate to stay here.

We have stayed here for a month. During this month there was a lot of changes done. It has new ownership, management. They seem to care about the people who stay. So please give them a try and if you have any problems let the new owners know so they can rectify the it.
