I've stayed here for a week and its been very friendly. Always a good morning or afternoon and warm cookies except on the weekend, bummer, I look forward to those cookies. I've got a sweet tooth. Service has been great, room clean. Good breakfast in the morning and they pack you a to go breakfast if you don't have time. Great. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hampton Inn in Ottawa was a good place to stay. The rooms are clean and service was excellent. The Internet service was slow at times, but easy to connect. The complimentary breakfast included hot items as well as a waffle press. There was always fruit available in the lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Traveling from Colorado to New York. Convient location from highway and food close by. Clean quiet pet friendly. Have stayed once prior and it was consistent. Breakfast could have been better staff was good.

Location and service have suffered since we last stayed. The addition of Walmart and the building up of the industrial area behind this Hampton Inn have made the location noisy, and difficult to turn out of during the day. Recommend driving out through Cracker Barrel or another facility in front of the hotel, if possible. Service has also suffered. I made 3 trips to the front desk in my pjs the first night because the TV did not work. Was then moved to the noisy side of the hotel above th...
Location and service have suffered since we last stayed. Also, the manager then said she thought she could have figured out the TV the night before--well why not come up then and try after my third trip? On leaving, no one bothered to ask how my stay was. I did receive an email survey, where I laid out my complaint, and got an apologetic email from the manager. When I asked about the Hampton Satisfaction Guarantee, I never heard back. Not the kind of service I am accustomed to at a Hampton.

This is one of the nicer Hampton Inns. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast spread is complete with everything on a breakfast menu. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean! Comfortable beds and nice showers. We will stop here again when traveling through the area.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Ottawa on several occasions while visiting family and we have seldom been disappointed. On one previous visit we had issues with renovations and they did not communicate that their elevators would be out of service but, other than that, they have delivered every time. The manager on duty welcomed us and got us checked in quickly. The hotel was not very busy; there were only 4 or 5 cars in the lot. When got to the room it was clean and everything seemed in order. The problem was that when we woke the next morning, we had a nicely worded note from under the door, informing us that there would be no housekeeping service on Thanksgiving. I do understand and I applaud a small business owner for giving staff the day off to spend the holiday with family. However, I have a problem with not being informed of this until someone slips a note under my door while I am sleeping. We could have been informed when we made the reservation. We could have been informed when we checked in. These are customer service opportunities lost and shed a negative light on an otherwise fine hotel. In addition, if you are going to leave your housekeeping staff off and not give any advance communication, perhaps, you could leave some additional supplies in your guest rooms or perhaps, you could offer rooms at a discounted rate. I assume that the cost of cleaning a room is built into the room rate? Why would you charge for a service that you have elected to not provide on a specific day? While our experiences at this hotel have been mostly positive, I am considering staying elsewhere on our next visit to the area. Communication is a small task and communicating these things when the reservation is made or at check in, as opposed to slipping a note under the door while your guests are sleeping, would go a long way toward establishing customer loyalty.

We were delighted this Hampton Inn was pet friendly. It was close to the freeway and perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly and the bed was quite comfortable. The location was very close to a Walmart super center which was convenient to add to our food supply.

This was my first time renting at any Hampton Inn .
I took my Mother here because of Trip Advisor. I read a review from person who was handicapped said they had those special lifts under the bed for transport. So I assumed when you rented the rest of the room it would be very accessible. I was very disappointed.
I had to ditch my Moms wheelchair for her canes because the door to the bathroom is so wide and when it opens it blocks the room ( THEY INSTALLED IT ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE DOORWAY). A...

A handicapped person who was in their chair could not get out of the bathroom or into it for that matter they would be sunk. The door should open to the right not the left when it opens to the left and would push back flat against the wall it blocks you in and is really dangerous. My Mother is dying of cancer and we are doing some small trips before she dies of places from her childhood. This was a very special trip and this was really upsetting.
Also the tub was not a flat bottom tub but a regular tub only a little shorter. What about handicapped so they not understand? Why isn't there a tub you can roll your wheel chair into ??I had to help her and there was not any type of non skid strips on the floor of the tub and it was not even rough surfaced very shiny and I almost fell myself.
The bathroom did not feel super clean not for this price I feel I should be able to eat off the floor feeling. There were yellow glue on the outside of the tub from stickers ( ever hear of Glue remover? ) They were large and you looked right at them when you went to the bathroom made the pace feel cheap.
The handicapped failure made me upset I payed way past my price point assuming at their rates nothing like this would happen ( I payed 158.00 for this room )
I will give them There was a lift available for the room and the pool it was a pretty clean room and the breakfast was great but those things are at most places not worth the price especially when renting specifically to have my Mom enjoy herself. THE BED WAS TERRIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE I was shocked. Both of our backs hurt. Staff was kinda cool having worked in a five star Hotel myself again I was disappointed.
The small pool was kinda a joke that much money for a place I have to stand up straight in because so many people were using it?

Hotel was great from beginning to end of our 3 day stay. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating with our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection. There is nothing negative to say about the hotel or our stay.

Very nice and clean, convenient to the business I was visiting. Very good breakfast and selection available. The internet connection was very good. There was a bar and grill across the street called Shakers, it was very good. There is a Cracker Barrel almost in the same Parking lot just walk out of the hotel and right there.
