Spent 5 days here. Not near enough time. The resort area is just fantastic. The open lobby area is gorgeous and very relaxing with water falls , flamingos and colorful birds. The staff is extremely helpful. We had one exceptionally friendly lady at the front desk.Unfortunately I can not remember her name. I only remember that she was only there at night. The food at the Relish Bar is great wether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner! It's all good! The beach, just a short walk from the hotel lobby i... Read more

Stayed here for a family vacation. The hotel is very nice, rooms on small side. Had room over looking pool and beach gorgeous. The pools are great, slides and things for kids to play on. In the mornings there was a man selling fresh cut pineapple that was awesome.

We were so pleased with our stay at this beautiful property which is very close to Whalers Village. We really enjoyed relaxing at the adult only pool with a bar and jacuzzi. The service was impeccable. We would like to give a special thanks to Dalton at the Front Desk for taking such good care of us.

We stayed here for five nights in January. The lobby area is an incredible open area with waterfall and flamingos. Our room was large with an ocean view although did not have a bath. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was only a few steps from the beach, and there were plenty of loungers in the pool areas. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We stayed on the 10th floor, having the most beautiful view of the golf course & mountains. The waterfalls, pools around the hotel are gorgeous......I could have sat be the pond all day watching the pink flamingoes, fish & black swan. However, the interior of the hotel & rooms need a major facelift and a good cleaning. The rug in our room was stained & fraying. We also had a strange odour on our bathroom. This hotel is too pricey for what you get...a resort fee is also included.

If you want to go on a vacation without feeling "touristy" - this is not the place for you. This is a large resort which caters to tourists of all ages. There are numerous pools on the property with plenty of water slides and activities for kids and, thankfully, also an adults only pool. The resort also has a pond with swans, flamingos, and plenty of fish to observe. We checked in quite late in the evening, but the service was quick and the staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. ... Read more

The best garden and pool area in Maui! We love the view from 10th floor - it's just amazing! Pools with the waterfalls, garden, flamingos in the lobby, beach, all resort's surrounding was wonderful. Pool adults only is a plus. Whalers village mall with many restaurants and shops near hotel was beneficial. The only thing that might be improved is the staff could be more friendly. We stayed in hotel already twice-in 04/2015 and 09/2016 and we definitely will come back again. I recommend room i... Read more

Perhaps the best location -- right at the center of Ka'anapali Beach. After many decades this resort community has matured beautifully; gorgeous trees, flora, birds. Just lovely. Alas, like much of Hawai'i, this property is geared toward families. If you're traveling solo or want an adult experience, you're out of luck. There's no dedicated cocktail lounge or signature dinner option. To their credit, there is an adult pool area. The breakfast buffet is a bit of a cattle call, and options ... Read more

The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there is a great walking trail along the beach that connects other resorts, shopping centers and restaurants. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day but ventured out for other meals since there were limited choices on the property. If you are a sunbather, be prepared for crowds in the pool areas. We had hoped to use the hot tub every day, but there was only one and it was located next to a pool bar and usually occupied by partiers. For the most part the ... Read more
