Gainesville is a cute town with lots of options in downtown for food and shopping. We were en route to a weekend in the mountains and decided to stop the first night here instead of driving all the way in the dark. This hotel is very convenient to the downtown square, and our experience was excellent. The hospitality, cleanliness, and ease of check-in/check-out were superb as in the norm with Hampton Inn.

Hotel is dated yet clean for its age defiantly over priced at a base rate of $199 plus junk fees wow you go big city !!! Breakfast buffet was average at best . Staff average. Overall a room with a bed and a shower nothing stands out . All of the above is just a opinion take it for what itâ??s worth .

I just completed a stay at Hampton Inn Gainesville and the staff was great. The physical plant was well maintained and immaculate. The Inn is located in a desirable location and the best Ihop in the country is located next door. The Inn is on a quiet side street with a stoplight intersection with Jesse Jewell PKWY. The Inn is small enough to be comfortable and easy to make sure everything is safe. Make your resivations early as the Inn is frequently fully occupied. The morning continental bre... Read more

Soccer tournament team stayed here and this was not your elegant place to stay but the staff was amazing. Dan did a experiment smell and taste test with our girls. I have never experienced a staff member take the time as he did in the lobby with our kids. We even watch our Auburn team lose on the T.V. lobby and cheer and cry for our team...lol They made is feel at home, best stay ever!

We were in town for Thanksgiving with local family. This Hampton Inn was the closest hotel if the brands we like and we were not disappointed. We choose Hampton Inn and other, better than average, hotels over the discount chains for the consistency of a clean, comfortable and hospitable experience.

Don't expect a state-of-the-art property (though it is being renovated now), but stay here anyway. The staff made the stay special. From the front desk to housekeeping to breakfast staff, all were kind and went out of their way to be helpful. The fridge and heating in our room were a bit noisy, but we either got used to it or were so tired that we slept (largely) through the racket. Property was very clean, and the location was perfect for our stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton in Gainesville, Ga. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was hot and varied day to day, but always fresh made waffles. The gentleman attending was super nice and made sure all had what they needed. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this location on 10-25-17 for business and I was very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. I understand that Gainesville is lacking for hotel rooms but $179 per night for a hotel that was having major renovations done to the entrance (that was inaccessible for a time) is a little steep. I had stayed in Augusta the previous night at a very upscale and modern Hampton Inn & Suites for $119. My room was very old and had cigarette burns on the vanity and the parking was very diff... Oldest Hampton Inn that we have ever stayed in. It is currently under renovation with lots of equipment on site. Unaware of what kind of renovations are taking place. The hotel is directly on the street and it's difficult to get into parking lot. Lobby is extremely small as is the dining area. The tub bottom is dangerously slippery with no non-slip material. The toilet while appearing to be new makes a god awful noise when flushed. The adjacent rooms toilet can also be heard when flushed. The ... Read more

Thé great thing about this hôtel la the staff, the cleanliness and the face that its right next to a Ihop that offered great service as well. Also, there are some rénovations being done at this time to update this hôtel.
