I recently stayed at the hotel for a business conference and had an excellent time. The staff was great - particularly Maria, who was a server during our lunch. She noticed I was feeling under-the-weather and went out of her way to be accommodating and try to find an alternative to what was being served. The catering and events were all timely and having the back deck on the water for breaks was a nice change of pace from the day! The rooms were well appointed and clean.

I am not a picky traveler in terms of decor but this hotel violates the single biggest sin I think exists for a business hotel; there are simply no easy to access outlets near the beds and only one outlet near the desk leaving you to choose between charging your devices, computer, or make coffee. Simple fix that needs to be made asap. The design of the room can only be described as bizarre and poorly thought out. Upon entering the room your are greeted by an awkward half wall with your sink (t... Read more

We love the Hyatt brand, we are gold members and recently have stayed at Hyatt Regency coconut point, Hyatt Regency Orlando and loved our stay at those locations. However, we called Miami Hyatt ahead asking if pools were heated during our stay in January, the staff confirmed. Upon arrival the pool temperature was bone chilling cold. I advised the staff and they began to debate me on the water temperature ensuring the temperature was close to 80 degrees. Once they confirmed the water was col... Read more

Thermostat in my room didn't work. The hotel gym is in a basement with no windows and only has three treadmills. Service is horrible. Conference food is unhealthy. I expected way more for the price, not to mention how loud it is.

Great hotel very busy, as it's connected to the convention center! However great location to Miami Beach, Whole Foods and more. Def wished their lounge was up and running doesn't look like any progress is being made. Great room great tv

A very big thanks to the concierge (one lady I don't know her name sorry) who was very helpful. Even though she couldn't find all we need she kept looking allover trying to help us. I appreciate that. Thank you Madame. if you read this you will recognise yourself if you think about the bag I asked and you provide me one laundry bag and you searched allover for on other one :) thank you.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and I really enjoyed the good location of this hotel. There are a number of restaurants nearby and its walking distance to the beach. The room is spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly. Sandra from concierge was very helpful to recommend good restaurants.

Old, dilapidated and needs to be refurbished; the elevators seem like circa 1950s and at times take forever. The traffic and noise from outside is very distracting. The bathrooms are bizarre with just a speck of space for toilet and shower.

Read the reviews about the dated hotel, but found it to be comfortable and well-maintained. The decor is a bit tired, but clean and tidy. Great location for a conference, though, with numerous meeting rooms. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There's easy self-parking in the garage, or valet parking is also available if you choose to pay more. The one clear downside was the traffic noise. This is a downtown hotel, with busy streets and the river immediately outside the hotel, so we... Read more

An architectural idiot refitted room balcony doors with fixed glass so you cannot enjoy the sunshine outside (likely the reason you came to Miami). Rooms are dated with an anemic amount of lighting. The place is cheap enough that AA crews lodge here. The redeeming feature is that the hotel is right across the street from Whole Foods. If you do get stuck here for a convention or a wedding visit the Surf and Turf food truck -- a 5 minute walk away, and a five star bargain (see TA review).
