I wouldn't say it was the best nor the worst. We needed a place to sleep, shower and eat a little breakfast before taking off on our cruise. GoPortCanaveral helped us in picking a place to stay. There was no reason to pay an arm and a leg for a place to stay when we were checking in late and checking out early. This place was a perfect spot for just that.

There was mold everywhere. The carpet turned my docks black. There was no top blanket, just another sheet. It smelled so bad I got a headache. Homeless people were everywhere. Right next to the train tracks was the least of my concern. I couldn't watch Netflix without it constantly stopping.

We booked this hotel through GoPortCanaveral. The price was $144 including shuttle from the airport and to the port for our cruise. Take a look at the pictures- they speak for themselves. The room was a non-smoking, but reeked of cigarettes. The guy at the front desk was really nice, at least- he was very friendly and took lots of time to explain how to get to our room, when and where to meet the shuttle, etc.

We did a combo room/shuttle before our cruise. Because of it being New Years Eve our choices were limited. The beds were clean but the carpet was pretty bad. Our room was next to the highway so it was pretty loud. Also not a lot around this hotel so food was very limited. I would not pick this hotel again.

We picked this location because of the price and they had a park, stay and cruise package. For our one night stay it was OK. If I was visiting the Canaveral area for a longer period I would look at other options. Skip the restaurant located next door. Even with the 10% discount that the motel offers there must be better places nearby. OTOH, the shuttle service they use worked very well but don't leave later than the 10:30 shuttle. The traffic to the ports is AWFUL but the Coco Beach Shuttle driv... Read more

The price is very affordable. They have a simple breakfast. The location is convenient if you are taking a cruise and need a place for the night. I would not recommend this place if you are staying more than one night, specially with family. Rooms and stairs are smelly and not to clean. The staff are very nice though.

My wife and I were in Cocoa, Fl to house hunt. Americas Best Value Inn was central to the area we were looking in and the price was right, so we stayed there. We flew into Orlando on a red-eye from the west coast, so we arrived early in the morning. We went to breakfast, met our realtor, and did some other running around. We tried to kill as much time as possible. After running out of menial things to do, it was only 2PM. We decided to go to the hotel and asked if we could check in early, which ... Read more

Ok,ok, get what you pay for. We live in Florida and wanted to see how bad everyone said the hotel really was. We stayed one Friday night in April and to our surprise it was satisfactory for one night. So we started our cruise off in Cocoa Beach Friday Dec 3rd. Most of our party arrived before us and warned us of broken windows, smelly rooms and tv not working. Well I was a little apprehensive about our room since we were there about 9pm. I opened our room and there sat a LARGE ... Read more

I would recommend this hotel if you just want a place to hang your hat and park your car before a cruise. We had a good time at the bar/restaurant the night before. The $10 pp shuttle to/from the ship worked out ok.

We stayed here the night before going on a cruise from Port Canaveral. The refrigerated and microwave were fairly new as was the tv, but the carpeting was threadbare and the smell! It smells like it suffered flood damage that was never cleaned properly. Would never stay here again.
