About the Area
Downtown DC is awash with culture. The Smithsonian Institution museum complex flanks the National Mall. The Washington Monument bisects the Mall, just south of the White House. Federal agency headquarters house bureaucrats of varying stripes. Moneyed and powerful lobbyists help create (and quash) laws from K Street. Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.

Love this hotel. Great customer service, both at the front desk and the bar. Great rooms, very spacious. Self parking garage next door. Super cool neighborhood with lots of fun restaurants within walking distance. Very much recommend!

We enjoyed our week-long stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and fun while maintaining their professionalism. Our rooms were very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Views are wonderful from the 9th floor, lots of good restaurants within walking distance, and easy access to the metro. We loved our stay, and will book again on our next trip to DC. Our only tiny issue was with the incomplete towel replenishment, which took a couple of calls. Other than that,... Read more

Recently stayed in the Cambria hotel and suites for one night while attending a work conference held jointly at the hotel and nearby Howard University. The hotel was lovely - we arrived on a Friday, used self parking ($30), and checked in. Room was clean and spacious - loved the art - and we very much enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was nearby points of interest and a metro stop, and we felt comfortable enough walking in the evening and exploring the neighborhood. Rooftop was gorgeous and ... Read more

This hotel had very nice rooms. The room also had very good sound proofing, something you need in DC. The hotel is close to a metro station, making it easy to get around the DC area. The only thing that bothered me was that the staff was a little stand offish, not rude but I am used to people wanting to be a little more helpful and pleasant.

What a gem! Not a well-known hotel name, therefore I didn't know what to expect. The hotel was selected for us in a conference package which can be disappointing - however this absolutely was not! My experience here started on a positive note when I met the bartender - Andres - friendly, bright, and exceptionally talented with his mixiology skills! . A shout also to Quinn the second bartender here. The rooms are large, comfortable, and an overall great atmosphere to work and relax. Choose... Read more

First I have to give a shoutout to Andr√©s. He‚??s one of the great bartenders there. Extremely knowledgeable about wine and mixology (may even get me to try Gin again). Had dinner and dessert at the bar and all was excellent. Definitely recommend the tiramisu. The hotel is convenient to the convention center. Modern. Clean. Comfortable. More importantly the staff is awesome. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Would highly recommend.

This hotel has great customer service and is located in an area that is convenient and cozy. The neighborhood surrounding is undergoing urban renewal which places the hotel in the middle of some up and coming dining venues. We had a suite which is well worth the extra pricing as you will have a small refrigerator and a microwave in the separate living area. The front desk staff is professional, courteous and attentive to your needs while traveling. In particular, Saleem and Michael really do... Read more

Nice spacious rooms, clean and well serviced. We had a fridge kettle and microwave in our room which came in very handy as our group were booked in on a room only basis. We didn't eat in the hotel but there is a Starbucks next door for breakfast and also a Giant supermarket within 2 to 3 minutes walk. There are nice restaurants nearby too. This hotel is in a good location. Staff a friendly and helpful and the hotel is modern clean and comfortable. I would stay here again

First, this was a great hotel to stay in overall. I'd avoid the $15 breakfast buffet, which offers not much more than what you'd get in a free continental breakfast at a Hilton property. But the room was quiet, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the little living-suite area was a nice touch. We had issues with the maid service. The maids knock quickly once on the room and then use their key to walk in, so if you are...say, indisposed, you might want to put the door DND sign out. We ask... Read more

The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The Pent House had a great balcony/patio with a wonderful view of the Capitol building and other monuments. The hotel was conveniently located near many great restaurants and within walking distance to many attractions or metro stops to catch the subway to places further away. The food in the restaurant of the hotel was very tasty and the staff was incredibly friendly, thoughtful and helpful, especially Thy, Angela, Quinne and Andres... Read more
