I stayed at the St. Moritz for 13 nights while attending the Music Festival. I came to Aspen specifically to see Rufus Wainwright perform at Harris Hall on July 24, after seeing him in Ottawa on July 12. I loved this place. I even stayed and extra night to attend the Salon Signature Event on July 25. My room was small, but fully equipped with a closet, two beds, and a refrigerator. WiFi was fine. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the daily complimentary buffet breakfast. The outdoor poo... Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lodge. They had happy hour every day from 4-6 p.m. with free wine served. Every afternoon they put out a tray of cookies in the lobby. The breakfast each morning was great. They had lots of fresh fruit, bowls of yogurt, cereals, hard boiled eggs, lots of different kinds of bread to toast and it was a large area with quite a bit of seating. The pool was like a giant hot tub and was nice to get into at the end of the day. We were there from Oct. 5-9. Th... Read more

Comfortable room, nice bed, closet and functional bathroom with tub/shower. Front desk and management were very friendly and helpful, providing suggestions on activities, eateries, etc. Nice breakfast (included with room) and complimentary wine and cookies in the afternoons. Heated pool was great. Easy walking distance into town. This place has a nice vibe, was a great value and we will stay here again when in Aspen.

This is a quite charming property that cannot be compared to Aspen's more luxurious properties (a couple in which I've stayed). However, it represents outstanding value at a cost of many hundreds of dollars less a night.. Its most outstanding quality is the friendliness and engagement of its staff. We were "wowed" by Tom, Arriana and Jay at the front desk. Tom, in particular, suggested two roads we'd never been on that offered breathtaking views of the Aspen area. Our room was small, but none... Read more

We stayed here for ten days while attending the music festival. We were in a one bedroom condo which, unfortunately, was in the rear and so didn't get much sunlight. Nonetheless, it accommodated our basic needs. Comfortable bed, adequate kitchen, TV, and a little patio overlooking the alley. The front of the lodge was much cheerier, with absolutely beautiful gardens lovingly attended to by Michael, the owner, who has been improving the lodge for something like 40 years. The staff is truly w... Read more

Make sure you understand if this is a room or a bed in a dormitory. I took one night and at $82 never imagined this was a bed in a shared room with bath down hall. Dormitory rooms are in the twenty dollar range in the rest of the world but not in overpriced, chi-chi Aspen. And this was August, not ski season. Poor guy in front of me thought he had reserved 2 rooms for 5 people. He got 2 beds for 5 people. Communal bathrooms unkempt with towels and litter on the floor. I understand ski bums ... Read more

This hostel is the nicest I have ever stayed in. I enjoy the clean facilities including kitchen, bathroom and common areas. Making turns and civil feet of powder in Crested Butte during an incredible six Mathias no dropping in three and a half days a hostel was a nice warm place to come back to with good front desk help when needed. An added plus was having a place to put ski equipment and have a very hot shower at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

This is like a lodge from a while ago with a nice big family room where people are hanging out and talking about skiing. We arrived after 7pm so they had our key in an envelope ready for us. We missed the cider/snacks in late aft., but took advantage of continental breakfast in AM which had yogurt, fruit, breads, etc. Staff are really nice and friendly. It has a very "homey" feel to it, and the price is good considering it's in downtown Aspen and walking distance to slopes. Bathroom and bedr... Read more

Stayed here one night during supposedly the low season in November, so breakfasts provided. Only me and another guy from Tenessee occupy a 6-bed rooms. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Would imagine this place is full during winter skiing season and the washroom for the floor might not be able to cope with so many people and only one shower and one toilet. Away from Aspen town, shouldn't be a problem if you drive.

Nice, cozy, and simple room. Perfect walking distance to the core of Aspen. Came for a show at the Belly Up and really enjoyed our stay. Great location with a heated pool. Kind of reminded me of old Aspen that I've seen in movies.
