Room not ready upon arrival. Room not cleaned. The room was small for the money spent. the Air conditioner was a wall unit that blew strong and heavy directly at the bed. Most of the problems relate to poor management not poor staff. We had reservations and the room was still not ready at about 6:30 P.M. I believe the primary cleaning staff had already gone home. Then the room was not cleaned the next day and no one even offered. We were out of the room for several hours (perhaps 8 or mor... Read more

I visit the Visalia area several times a year. I have always stayed at the Hampton Inn Visalia due to their terrific service and close attention to detail. The room is always perfect, the amenities such as breakfast and internet, are top-notch and most importantly, the staff is friendly and accommodating! A great job by the entire staff!!

Aside from the outdoor pool which is likely because it's in California and more likely to be warm, it's a pretty standard Hampton Inn experience. Comfortable bed, large shower, good breakfast. Visalia itself has a persistent smell similar to that of burning leaves but is apparently simply the smell of pollution. Not a fault of the hotel, but merely an observation.

This hotel is great! It truly is so clean. Which is why I decided to stay here verses other hotels in the area. I read online that it was a very clean hotel and it has definitely lived up to its online reviews. The bed is so comfortable as well as the pillows. The bathroom is big in my opinion and the shower is so nice. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is also very well executed. I enjoyed making my own waffles and eating the mini omelets and sausage patties. I also love how they offer... Read more

Went back and forth between a 3 and 4 rating, ended up going with four based on good customer service and good cleanliness. Good staff working the front desk the early evening shift, nailed all the Hilton Honors stuff, friendly, efficient. Room was good sized, comfortable, good sized TV with a lot of channels. I had no issues with heating or cooling systems. The room had the "quad plug' set up on one of the night stands with AC and USB plugs. A couple of nitpicks about the room: Overall I ... Read more

The hotel is nice and clean. The room was quite spacious. I guess nothing came out as memorable, otherwise I would give it a much higher score. Breakfast was ok as well. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Short notice trip for my birthday so we could visit the Sequoias. We were quite surprised by how nice this hotel was. Parking was easy, the room was nice, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, and there were snacks set out in the afternoon. We were quite pleased with the two nights that we visited this area. The hotel was close to a lot of restaurants and fast food places. It was about an hour from Sequoia National Park and a beautiful drive. We did not use the indoor pool, ... Read more

The wife and I had to be in Visalia for a family get together. Could have stayed with family members, but decided to stay where we didn't have to change the sheets or wash dishes. Very Glad we stayed here. Very Clean and Comfortable King bed room. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
