We came in for a few days recently and it is a great home base for exploring wine country, and the property itself is beautiful. The little casitas make it feel homey. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the fireplace is an excellent touch on a cool night. There were some issues that I would have expected a hotel of the caliber and price to have ironed out. We arrived during a rain storm and were directed to our rooms, no one offered to help with luggage or even an umbrella, so we had to tr... Read more

We arrived in the pouring rain and had to walk to a building way in the back. No offer to help with luggage, umbrella or ride. Soaked when I got to the room. I asked for a room in the main building but was told, no I was upgraded and had no option. Tried to buy a tee shirt at 3:30 pm and told HR went home for the day and they have the other sizes locked up.

Stayed here the last 2 nights Of our 5 week road trip in USA. Very relaxing, good food and good service. As a platinum member, both couples were upgraded to cottage rooms. Nice. We had dinner both evenings in the restaurant. đ???. The shuttle service is perfect for visiting the small town.

My family and I saved here over the July 4th holiday this summer after traveling around wine country. We did our research before hand and decided to book after reading the rave reviews--we were not disappointed! The rooms were spacious enough for the three of us (two queen beds and a patio facing the entrance). Every day the hotel had activities such as morning hikes with champagne, wine tastings, live band by the pool, ect. The property is beautiful and is very close to Sonoma Square where th... Read more

First time here for two nights and it was freezing cold the first night. Thank goodness there is a gas fireplace and heat that works. Ok rooms in the cabin 12 section over looking the Pool and hot tub. And yes there were people in the hot tub. I counted maybe 8??? Who knows if they just met that evening. They were jammed in there like a pot of soup!!! The rooms were ok. Nothing to brag about. Beds were comfy. The bathrooms and showers were roomy. Good pressure. Since we were on the second floor... Staying for one night for meetings about 1hour away. Showed up at 10:00 PM after a very long flight to be told that there was no room for me and that they had moved me to another hotel (that's another story) and they covered the cost. To be clear, I had prepaid my room at that hotel and booked 6 days in advance. They claimed that they were not able to reach me (which to me is a better reason not to screw a client over, be nice about it and pick the ones that at least were informed and could m... Read more

The hotel is lovely, the nearby Sonoma Square area is AMAZING. And if you have kids Train Town is right across the street. The rooms can be expensive depending on the month you travel, but some months are 1/2 the price. Unfortunately if you want to use Marriott points for this hotel they make it nearly impossible by blocking out most dates. They categorize the hotel as top stars high end but I find the layout/look to be very nice but not top stars/high end. The spa should be more centrally loc... Read more

This is a terrific place to stay. The grounds are extremely well kept. The place is clean. The staff are friendly and helping. My wife and I just lied on furniture by the pool and relaxed with a few drinks and snacks. The pool and spa are nice. The fireplace inside is nice to sit beside with a cocktail and relax. There is food and drink available. The atmosphere is great. I personally liked the fireplaces in the cottages/villa. I have already told my friends about this place and recommend you st... Read more

Would like to first mention that the people were super nice, went out of the way to help how they could and the lady that cleaned my room, while not being able to speak English, was probably the best interaction I had with someone at the hotel and she'll get a big tip due to how awesome she was (extra coffee, water and shampoo go a long way to make me happy). Up in the area for work and due to the fires, couldn't get in at my normal hotel, Marriott Napa (love that one!). Booked the Lodge without... Read more

What a lovely Marriott property. Old school feel of luxurious two story, 8 unit buildings around the lovely grounds. The rooms are beautifully done, with the expected comfy bedding and towels, really great bathrooms. Fireplace, large screen tv. Super service the minute we were in the door. We had breakfast included, and it was first rate. Nice perk: bikes and helmets available free of charge to ride into town and around on the many bike paths. Very nice pool area. Didn't want to leave. ... Read more
