Hello, how do you do? I stayed in the Vertigo Hotel this past Saturday and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is in a prime location of San Francisco, CA. The room was clean, neat, organized, elegant and classy. I cannot ask for a better room as we stayed in the Penthouse suite. I want to comment on the service I received there. The Manager by the name of Jaime Gonzalez, was superb. He was very professional, helpful and answered all of our questions and pointed out where to go and wh... Read more

I stayed in hotel vertigo back in April for 3 nights. I found the rooms very clean and extremely spacious. Staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries and the hotel is in a good location. It's roughly 1.7miles to fisherman's wharf but it's really easy to find as it's one straight road all the way! (Few hills along the way). All in all enjoyed my time in San Francisco and I would use hotel vertigo again if I ever came back.

We stayed in San Francisco for 9 nights after almost a month of travel with family and friends at work. It was an awesome experience. What made it more awesome is that we stayed in this hotel with very friendly front office staff (Sam, Jessica, Joan and Greg and the night guy) and even the managers were very accommodating and friendly. The lobby is very clean and is it's proximity to Union Square is very convenient also. I would recommend this hotel to travellers especially to families

Staff were very pleasant here at reception. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Hotel doesn't have air con which was a nuisance however on day 2, I found a fan located in the storage room so this was handy but air con would be better. Offers a mini bar and the snacks were good value, has a modern TV and charging station. Beds were comfortable. Located less than 10 mins walk from Union Square. Never saw any trouble around this hotel so appears to be in a nice location. Offer a shuttle bus to the... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, warm and comfortable. The free WiFi was a bonus. And there was a charging terminal in the room which could accommodate our phones and pads. Would recommend this hotel.

We spent 4 nights here and have no complaints about our stay. When we first arrived we did notice how basic the accommodation was, but it was very clean and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep each night. The bathroom was clean and came with plenty of towels and toiletries and the shower nice and warm each day. The room was small and overlooked other rooms but we actually didnâ??t mind as we spent most of our days exploring the city. There isnâ??t any food service at the hotel but there a... Read more

Recently stayed at this hotel for 2 days before a cruise then 2 days on our return before flying home. The location is fair being 10 mins walk to union square and 30 mins to Fishermans Wharf. The hotel rooms are large and well equipped (incl tea & coffee) and both rooms we were given had lovely modern big walk-in showers. The staff are all attentive and friendly with nothing too much trouble - and if Gregory is on reception you will here many a song drifting across the lobby!! We booked this as ... Read more

Easy to find, and has a parking nearby. Beds "queen size" more like one size, too small. Not very clean shower cabin, one of the ear pads was dirty, and not clean towels. The worst: No air conditioning and the area was not so good Was expecting more and I have one more night to stay that I already paid for

The only reason I stayed here was because I made my hotel play last minute and there was virtually no availability (I usually stay at the Clift nearby). I would characterize this place as average at best, and with some important deficiencies. The day I arrived the temperature was above 80 degrees and I was put in a room facing the street (and the sun) which was easily 85 degrees when I checked in. That would be livable if there were AC and windows which operate properly. There is no AC. And, of ... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights on first leg of California tour. Hotel is comfy & stylish with Hitchcock vibe. Rooms are well equipped, clean & staff very friendly & helpful. Good choice of local coffee shops for breakfast. Easy 15 min walk to Union Square. As others have said couple of blocks south of hotel are can feel dodgy after dark but thatâ??s sadly true of much of SF.
